FlemishSupremacy 4930 Share Posted November 16, 2021 Flemius read over the treaty, nodding resolutely, as he looked south with a tinge of melancholy. Thereafter, his gaze steeled once more, ready to continue serving his Kongzem!
Mirtok 2848 Share Posted November 16, 2021 Drasus would receive word of the diplomatic agreement while visiting the Capital city of Providence on business. He would sit idly with his physician, Doctor Pruvia, over a horn of mead within his private office. With a metallic chuckle he would remark . . . "The Carrion Lord begins to descend upon its poor fetid prey. The many years of basking in the austere desert heat has withered them away, what is left shall soon be consumed by the grim scavenger. I'm sure they both fear their own starvation, but it's plain to see who will be feasting on who here. A pity."
BenevolentManacles 2232 Share Posted November 16, 2021 “Your Imperial Majesty!” shouts a young man from the parapet as he returns from prayer at the forest shrine at Huntshill. Philip II received a missive, detailing the most recent treaty, as he enters the bastion. “Sire, they posture against you! It is a vile union which seeks to weaken your rule!” The Emperor grins from astride his white stallion, offering the parchment detailing the event back to the nervous soldier. “No, my son. It is the flavor of the week.”
erictafoya 2307 Share Posted November 16, 2021 In the halls of his section of the residential Palace, Andrik Nikolas smiles widely at the newly formed pact between the greatest nation in the North and the greatest nation in the South. Despite not being heavily involved with the treaty, the Deputy-Ambassador to Savoy sure had his ambitions set high.Meanwhile... A Baron in his cold and quiet keep looks at the missive with disdain, not because he disagrees with it, but because he knew of it's importance in the current inter-political climate. Robert Ludovar takes a long breath in, and exhaled. It'd been decades since that wig-snatching incident had occurred, though he still held little respect for the Prince of Savoy because of the words and actions exchanged between the two. Still, the Baron put on his coat, pinned his five medals of service, and fixed his old but clean beret. If or when the time came, the veteran sergeant would be ready to call a Savoyard a comrade, even if it bothered him.

Herod 802 Share Posted November 16, 2021 The Lord Palatine had just laid his bagpipes onto a wall in his office, he had gotten tired from playing them after the spectacle at court, he glanced onto the treaty placed on his desk and a cigar neatly placed beside it. "As much as it pained me to approve of this document, the audacity of hairless bureaucrats from the south serves as a grim reminder for the fickle of human diplomacy." He remarked to his underpaid worker, Todd McTodd, who was busy preparing copies of a missive sent to him by the Duke of Valwyck, his deputy.@Gusano

He was not educated on matters of foreign diplomacy, and had not the interpretative skills to derive any meaning from this document. Nevertheless, he sent a copy of it to the Duke of Valwyck.

Franz dismissed the missive for now, and gestured the mail courier along, towards the ruins of Krusev, inviting him to accompany himself and Natalia Kovachev for dinner."What's for dinner?"The Oracle grinned as he began through the alleys of Karosgrad."Chicken."
