"Nein Barclay, du are nein Barclay!" August Barclay exclaimed alongside Ser Reinhardt, sharpening his blade upon his whetstone.

Princess Anna Ulyssa watched the scene from the safety of her mother's arms, the girl's undeveloped brain lagging behind in understanding, causing her to lie in fright. After, watching the unity of Savoy and Oren unfold unequivocally as the new Prince was coronated, her grin finally appeared.

Within the Provins youth built something heavy, her brows knitting together as her eyes were caught by the pink clothing of a familiar face. The youth's face flushed with red as she clung to her aunt's side, her eyes welling up with tears as she spotted the young Princess in the midst of the mess.

An Artist's Depiction of the Great Flight of the Emperor.

A historian looks up at the missive and screams at the various proclamations that have been spread since the disappearance of the Pillar of Oren. The single balloon that was found departing on the day of the transfer of the Empire is something that has been the pinnacle of his research and observations of the last few days, strange cheese cloth wrapped around his head as his cabin is covered in charcoal scribbles.

"Those deviled sky people, co-ordinated the flight of the Balloon. To collapse the old wigged Empire, it was all with the single departing from the top of the palace. No-one saw it, but me. No-one saw it, but me. No-one saw it, but me."

His own ramblings follow as he flips the notice on its back, drawing and scribbling a few phrases upon the back.

"Was this Harren's Reincarnation. The Downfall of Humanity."

"Lorina Carrion's Burial Sparked the Wig Courte."

The man continues to pin and move various pages across his cabin. An occasional raving elf is heard as the sparking of gravel is heard from outside his hut. The strange puppets that were salvaged from the dangers of the Brae-Bellion. There are too many stars in the skies, are they eyes?

Alec thinks these Barclay's should use some sort of protection when fading to black.  He's met like forty of them already!

Father Stor, Novitiate, screams the following as he rides through the streets of Oren. “Vargengotz has risen! He assumes his crowns! Owyn was a Farfolk! The Dwarven Taxmen cometh!”

James Hartford would stand out in front of the bank as he spoke to those in the square, "If what they are saying in the streets of Providence is true.. it would be most concerning.. the High Pontiff forming a coalition with pagans against Godfrey's Empire! The man in the highest office would not be someone who speaks for God, it would be a blasphemer committing sacrilege of the highest degree. Let's hope that the Church finds reason in these trying times." he would proclaim amongst the Imperial masses before adding on, "However.. there should be some doubt given towards this priest who calls of the High Pontiff's inaction. He is claiming to be God's most true and faithful serviceman, but as it is written in the Scrolls.. we all fall short of God and to consider yourself the most true and faithful serviceman is a sin to God. Furthermore, it is only a legitimate removal if all the Cardinals remove the High Pontiff. To go against this great tradition is to go against God's legacy."

Little did could the historians and academics know, Ser Dresden @Sorcerio , Jean the monastic, and an elf with eyes like fire had weaved their machiavellical ceremonies in secret cabals to play at the strings of fate and drive that previous emperor mad with the ambitions of flight.

"This guy is a Barclay." Edmond hollered, for all Barclays to hear.

"No he's not" a Barclay hollered back holding a parchment in his hands.
