Thucydides Melphestaus read the statement carefully pausing as he thought of the words which his brother wrote. "I pray the Emperor will agree in this statement brother, I hope you haven't throw our family to the dogs."

Empress Anastasia, for any who attempted to write to her, had taken great lengths of time between her letters and responses. It had been difficult to contact her for meeting, too, as she remained in the palace cathedral after speaking with the Archchancellor Melphestaus on the dire matter. She knelt in the pews, her hands clasped together, with only God and the Orenian people on her mind.

“GODANS LIGHT SHINES UPON ALL! God bless this new era of chancellory.” Otto August prepared his forge alongside his children, preparing to make a gift for the Archchancellor: a Starsteel cross.

Louis d’Azor quickly gets back up on the ladder and starts to remove the banner in Providence that read “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!” He frowns at the Acting Archchancellors mistake before saying to a fellow citizen who passes, “Those who are swift to words are late to logic.”

It is important to provide transparency where it is due. This Government was given false information that the Holy Pontiff, His Holiness Everard VI, had engaged in an attempt to schism the faith - the forgery of documents, missives, and pronouncements was real enough to deceive the brightest legal and canonist scholars within the Government.

"And the Cardinals of the Holy Church we apparently all hold in high regard were not consulted beforehand. . . why?" Rhys var Ruthern asks aloud after reading through the apologetic missive with a scoff.

"Orenians pooped and shidded themselves." Quinten would say, laughing and pointing!

Flemius, meanwhile, would remain more grim; "I hope those that tried to murder his Holiness if not for the intervention of the BSK will be brought to justice for attempted murder and assault. Those who turned coat so quickly ought to reconsider their actions too, and seek penance, for they were quick to celebrate this rashness."

Louise Antoinette glared at her husband.
“Glad I actually have a brain in this house.”

The woman said, snarkishly.

Dietrich looks towards his uncle Jurgen confusedly as he has heard Charles Galbraith talk about blessing High Pontiff Michael yesterday in Providence streets.

"Uncle, how many Pontiffs are there, und why are we blessing all of them?"
