The Musin Revolution

ATTENTION MUSIN OF ALMARIS
I Rigatoni, foremost advocate for the advancement of Musinkind hereby open my doors for my fellow musin to seek me out by letter for lessons in the alchemical arts. We musin are incapable of learning magic, but the enlightenment of the musin people will come with the revelation that we do not require the use of the arcane arts to succeed in the advancement and perseveration of our people. The Descendants make use of magic to supplement their physical weaknesses, to grasp at the idea of personal power to overcome perceived weakness when it is their lack of innovation. We Musin were not inborn with the weak crutch of magical power, we were born with twin strengths greater than both the void and physical might. We musin were gifted with the twin blades of wisdom and innovation, and with them we can create such machines, inventions, and strategies that no foe may best us. 
 
So come my faithful kin and partake of the bounty of the musin revolution.

[!] A scrounging abomination of matted fur, and chittering teeth clasped the missive, that mouse-like snout sniffing the sheet before casting it's gaze over it. "F-fer Musin-kind! Yes, YES!" It drawled out in a nasally tone, the bandages taut across the small figure lessening, revealing the countless boils that line that festering Musin.

A war-hungry musin screamed from atop nearby roofs. "We will make such machines and devices to bring down the giants to their knees. There will be none sheltered as we continue on our war-bound path to victory. Descendant children, innocent or not will die in the streets as the adults are slaughtered on the fields of battle. Blood will stain our furs red and the mere thought of us will haunt the dreams of every man and creature."

"Butter believes a new dawn for Musin-kind is beginning. Butter is ecstatic to see how this turns out."

Lint faintly struggled to read the notice, his patchy clothes still covered in the stench of old fruit and glue. His hand clenched into a fist, raising into the sky as he lifted his head to view the clouds above. "Magic is for Lessers!" He called out, "Science is for Musin!"

Cuern, a very dyslexic Musin did not quite understand much of anything on the notice and so had what she dubbed "Her Heeleex" read it out loud to her as she pranced about the bakery, waiting for her latest treat to bake with a happy little smile.

There was a momentary pause towards the shout before an expected sigh. A packed lunch would be ready alongside his prized weapon, "The Rat Smacker."
