So the Maheral Returns

Written by Okarir’san, Usamea An’asul

22nd of The First Seed, Year 55 of the Second Age

For She was the first Maheral, now represented by a direct descendant; the epitome of purity.

Dear Mali’thill,

The Malauriran have convened, deliberated and chosen after a long while — and their wisdom is beyond questioning — the leaders of the past, after much consideration have anointed the Maheral, the epitome of purity.

The Blessed Child, heir to Haelun’or and the daughter of Malauriran Dimaethor and Iaria Elervathar, the grandchild of Iatrilemar Elervathar. She was forced to escape the Motherland ruled under tyranny, she was forced to abandon her kin to protect what was given to her by our Haelun. However, she remained vehement, now returning to the Motherland to ensure progress and health, to lead our kin.

Thus we, Usamea An’asul and the signatories, pledge our perennial allegiance to the most blessed, Maheral Elesia Elervathar. May her reign be eternal and may she lead our people into everlasting progress and health.

She is eternal, she is the epitome of purity, she is the representative of Larihei.

AY’LARIHEI

AY’MAHERAL ELESIA ELERVATHAR

MAEHR’SAE HIYLUN’EHYA

"maehr'sae hiylun'ehya" replied one elf known by the name Fi'inde, a broad smile lifted from each corner along his pale lips, a dignified celebration of this news. "It cannot be contested that the Elervathar is most pure - agreed both among the people and elMalauriran, elMaheral Simply Is. Ay'Larihei, ay'Haelun'or, ay'maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. "

An elfess would smile the sun's smile upon receiving the news, a brief pause from her personal work and studies that kept her confined to her tower. Still, such celebration could only be momentary - progress waits for no 'thill!

"Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya." A gruff mali'aheral states with crossed arms as he looks over the missive pasted to the notice board. Slowly, a smile takes over his features. "This is much of an improvement compared to when I first arrived... Ebb and flows.. Others just do not understand what good this is for us."

An Otheluist, a one Éowyn Nullivari, still received (or rather, obsessively collected) missives from the homeland periodically. She did so to remind herself maybe of her ancestry but when she received the missive about the maheral, she bursted out in anger. "There is no Maheral but Larihei!" the mali'thill proclaimed loudly throughout the halls of Caer Raywyn. She spent the remainder of the day being, quite frankly, mad at the notice and writing angry worded letters to her friends to reaffirm their Otheluist beliefs in private.

"They replaced Larihei with someone lesser?" Haskir queries, tilting his head. Even the Kharajyr was confused. "How dare they. This was the Sohaer Othelu Orrar's dying wish. I believe they're asking to be raided."

The ancient elf sighed as he read the poster within the city of Haelun'or. "No matter, makes no difference to me." He muttered quietly to himself, shaking his head lightly. "Well, back to work." The elf would then continue on with his duties.

"No Maheral but Larihei- like Iaria and Dimaethor, this 'ata is a mere pretender." A certain elf remarked while sitting atop  various crates of stolen goods while sharpening her dagger. Memories flooded back to her of her time of Arcas and the torment she'd received from this child's parents. Clicking her tongue, the elfess rose to a stand, glancing to the black wig  accompanied by a blue coat that sat on display not unlike a museum exhibit. "Not quite yet, you can come out later." Valindra remarked to the items within the glass case. "Soon though- this just got personal."
