An old man, like Absolon when he died, had found himself in a tavern in the dwarven lands. He, as life had laid out for people, always was second to Absolon. If Absolon was a Head Ranger, he was his Decurion, if Absolon was the Marshal of Norland, he was a Warden, if Absolon was the Lord Commander, he was a Head Ranger and now, he was second in life to Absolon.

Playing a game of cards with other descendant races, as he was pulling the winnings from that round to him, he heard two dwarves smoking from their pipes, say "You Heard? Absolon de Astrea died, a few days ago"  A dwarf told the other. "Good lad..." The other dwarf said.
The man looked down at his hand, which held a mina, raising his head just slightly at the ceiling, he chuckled and said  "Damn you Absolon...you got me thinking on how much time I have left..."  Tannon Svardvind had a tear rolled down his cheek.

Tragedy. 

It was a devastating strike when the news reached Eugeo, filled with grief and disbelief, he had shut himself in his office for weeks. He missed Absolon, utterly so, his very own brother, and now, it was as if his own heart was missing its pieces. 

They will be united one day, Eugeo steeled and hoped..
