Gavin_ 1784 Popular Post Share Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) THE FLIGHT OF IVARIELLE Issued from the Silver Citadel 12th of Sun’s Smile, Year 58, S.A Lye thill'ito, ito thill lentae'ehya For eons the Children of Silver have followed the most Blessed maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, divined from the teachings of Larihei herself. It is her guidance, echoed through the Maheralan’s teachings through our millenia of existence, which has strengthened the will and forged a future for her Blessed Flock. It is this adherence to Tradition which ensures our people do not falter, but rather continue to grow in strength and number. It is this Tradition which demanded that I, the Sohaer of Haelun’or, accept a challenge from the false Princess Ivarielle. In a public missive entitled ‘IVARIELLE’, I offered this pretender - of Haelun’or, the opportunity to challenge me for the position of Sohaer. It is a privilege and Blessed Tradition that elmali’thill have been granted for many, many centuries. Ivarielle had claimed that through my unwillingness to hand Haelun’or over to her to satiate her hunger for power, that I was leading our people - elmali’thill, to bloodshed - for I either give her power, or she takes it by force. Several days later, I received a message from one of her minions, she demanded that the debate occur on the 12th of Sun’s Smile, at exactly One O’Clock, and Haelun’or accepted her challenge. Five Malauriran answered the call - emblems of Purity and Tradition. It would be they who decided the victor of the debate, as is Tradition. ______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ Ivarielle slowly paced into a completely full Citadel, Thirty minutes late, a panicked and stressed expression strewn upon her visage. She brought no supporters, nor were any to be found within the Citadel, despite her previous claims that the denizens of Haelun’or were her citizens, and that they supported her, not me. The false princess rudely interrupted the chair of the debate several times, asking me if I ‘Surrender’. She refused to participate in the debate and ignored the instructions of elmaluriran. After I informed her that I would answer the questions of elmalauriran, as is Tradition, she fled - she ran from the citadel, claiming victory and disappeared into obscurity - as has any legitimate claim she may have had to the leadership of Haelunor. Sohaer, translates roughly in common, to ‘ruler by teaching’. Ivarielle demonstrated to all Mali’thill present today, that she has little to teach, nor is she capable of ruling. Let the flight of Ivarielle Ibarellan - the false princess, from her own supposed city, signal to all those foreigners who support her, that she is not of Haelun’or, she is not wanted by Haelun’or, and she shall never rule Haelun’or. __________________________________________________________________ Maehrsae Hiylun’ehya Signed, Sohaer Braxus Ni’leya Edited January 10, 2022 by Gavin_
_Sheylo_ 979 Share Posted January 10, 2022 An 'Aheral, often sporting either a blue or red coat looks over the missive and chuckles. "Naturally, a pretender, let alone a non-citizen to our state would flee from a debate in the eye of the judges.." He laughs, "As we all think, she just take her group of bandits and create her own settlement."

Crevel 4699 Share Posted January 10, 2022 "It is good to see that the mali'thill of the Silver State have been loyal to the Sohaer from the beginning. Hopefully, those who have been deceived by the pretender's antics will now come to their senses. Hopefully." Leithedir An'asul would remark after guarding the Citadel during the events, his voice muffled from his mask as he spoke from within the Silver Bastille to his comrades.

mika1278 2640 Share Posted January 10, 2022 The Silver Lubba laughs as he receives the missive through a bird "Ay lads, he isn't surrenderin', ye think they'd accept a field battle to settle this to defend their supposed lands or do ye think they'll refuse and hide behind words?" he called out from a balcony towards his fellow members of the band
Monkee 7354 Popular Post Share Posted January 10, 2022 "But of course - the succession of an 'aheral that seeks to reform a state should be determined by... the very government she seeks to upend. Makes sense," a Snow Elf muses to the silver princess at his flank. "Paper makes for a poor shield against steel. It is a shame that they did not surrender as you bid them."
Morigung-oog 2212 Share Posted January 10, 2022 "Mm, I do pity these brainwashed 'thill... Perhaps we should just... let them be..." Valindra sighed, seemingly quite dejected. A large frown played upon her lips and a long silence followed... ... ... ... And then said expression warped, into one of amusement. "Ha! I jest... At least to the letting them be part!" Cackled the white haired elfess, taking a swig from her glass of wine. "I'd be all too glad to put these fuckers in their rightful place if they ACTUALLY become a threat to the princess's claim."
Trinn 2084 Share Posted January 10, 2022 "I do not see the point of a foreign Princess pressing her claims on an unwilling city, whilst equally unwilling to showcase why it is that she deserves to rule." Melia rambles idly in the tavern, pouring herself a generous serving of wine upon doing so. "Had she addressed the crowds before departing, perhaps to turn them against the government she supposedly disagreed with, that may have turned heads -- but alas, she simply left. I was quite interested to see what she had to say, what she had in mind for the common Mali'aheral such as myself. A pity she said nothing but repeated petty demands."
Songwitch 1404 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Off she tottered; form astray - adrift whilst in those proclaimed lands of the 'pure'. Forgotten as the Maiden may have been, within Her dwelled an inkling of disgust; of transpicuous second-hand embarassment. "When will they learn?" Undine ushered with such 'forementioned chagrin, trotting alongside the realm as to unite with this valiant Princess.

LatzMomo 2088 Share Posted January 10, 2022 An elf red of hair reads over the missive. "Those who would go to battle with deceitful words rather then with an honest blade disgust me. Let us see how they employ their assault of words when swords are brought to their throats." (I saw haelunor is bussin again.)
