Urguani Property Rules

ᚡᛖᛚᛖᚱᚨᚴ-ᛟᛉ-ᛞᚨ-ᛟᚾᛟᚱ'ᚴᚨᛞᚱᛖᛚ'ᚾᚨᚱᚺᛖ

Under the jurisdiction of the Grand Steward, citizens of  the Grand Kingdom of Urguan may now reside comfortably in their homes knowing that there are set in stone rules to guide what can and can't be done while living on Urguani soil. The following rules have been checked by Grand-King and is authorized by the Grand Steward himself, Gildroc Goldhand. These rules have been taken from former Grand Merchant Dhaen Grandaxe’s own property rules (that were checked by peers of the Grand Council) and updated with the proper terminology, with a few edits/additions.

===================

1. All houses are taxed by default. Those who fail to pay their weekly taxes are evicted within the following stone week.

  • 1.a. Negotiations on both of these fronts may be undertaken by the Grand Steward

2. If tax evasion is found, the charged will be referred to the High Courts for punishment.

3. Housing cannot be physically expanded unless agreed and negotiated by the Grand Steward.

4. Multiple people may live in one house provided they are citizens of Urguan.

5. Non-Urguani citizens living in an Urguani house must be notified to the Grand Steward for further negotiation.

6. Multiple properties can be owned provided they are not combined and the structural integrity of both remains intact.

  • 6.a. Multiple houses may be owned, provided they are next to eachother in some capacity. (I.E, above and below, or side by side, etc.) If you wish to combine them, the express permission of the Grand Steward is required first.

  • 6.b. The Grand Steward has every right to renege on this agreement if a type of property one owns is becoming sparse.

7. Housing cannot contain shops/stalls and vice versa. (This is applicable to the Mining and Legion housing as well.)

8. Property transactions (e.g. trading properties, selling, leasing, etc.) cannot be done without informing the Grand Steward.

Signed,

Grand King of Urguan, Lord of Clan Frostbeard,

Thane of Rhewenholm, Great-Grandson of Rhewen
