PONTIFICAL LETTER

WRIT OF DISSOLUTION:

OF THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY

Most Beloved Brethren, Health and Pontifical Benediction.

We have issued many dissolutions during Our pontificate, yet each brings to Us the same amount of sorrow as the last. We truly believe in the holiness of Marriage, yet understand that there are circumstances in which unions are insupportable and cannot continue. Therefore, We hereby declare the union of Prince Andrik Nikolas and Princess Nikoleta Barbara, void, dissolved on grounds of the risk of harm to and endangerment of parties within the marriage. All children produced by the marriage shall remain legitimate before God's eyes.

We do pray for each of the pair and hereby demand that each seek Our permit before entering any future unions. May God bless them.

Dei gratia,

Sanctitas, Papa Everardus Sextus

AD MAIOREM DEI GLORIAM

FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD

Nikoleta sat on a rather uncomfortable wooden stool, holding the wax sealed letter. This letter decided her fate, if her wish had been granted or if she would continue to live her years as an unseen Princess. Slowly, she glided her hand along the stamp to unhook it. Her gaze shifting among Vasileia @Cepheidand Eleanore @MikoMonster, her friends.

Then with a deep breath and a whole lot of courage, she'd slip two fingers into the envelope and pull out the missive. Her icy eyes scanned over the paper frantically - then releasing a sigh. It was truly over.

Gently, the Morovar passed the note around the table and to subsequently anyone else who wished to bare witness. Though she felt mostly relived, her bandaged hands began to shake. More then 20 years of her life she had given to cultivating a love that simply would not grow for her. She was almost 30 now, and just now understanding how happiness worked. What a fool she still was.

Her prayers that evening, would be filled with her children whom she swore to care for and visit along with her best friend Anastasya, hoping that she would find her way without Nikoleta's presence.

"It's a cold day today..."  The Prince thought as he made his way through the frozen royal gardens. Funny... he almost forgot that the very coat that kept him warm was stitched by none other than his seperated wife... Or the wife he thought he still had.

The winds of winter blew throughout the courtyard. Andrik shivered, and the chill of the breeze was unlike any other. He went into his residence, finding that his two children were peacefully sleeping.

Annaliesa and Branimar, the ones who were left behind by Nikoleta, had been tear stricken for days ever since their mother seemingly abandoned them. Their father pressed a kiss on their warm foreheads, and Andrik went back to his study. On his desk, a letter seemed to be waiting for him. It was from the Pontiff himself.

Knowing what the contents would be, Andrik didn't even bother to open it, for he knew that doing so would only break him further than he already was. In his mind, all he thought was "I lost her... But she's happy."

Without rest nor hesitation, Andrik stood from his study and made the long journey towards a certain ruin...

The illustrious Dr Bergamo welcomes her for another therapy session in Nu Loc.

Eleanore Morovar smiled softly as Nikoleta passed her the letter, a mildly saddened expression, but one of hope. "Welcome back to the family, chera. May this mark the beginning of your rebirth and may your happiness be born anew." The older Morovar woman murmured, beckoning her beloved sister-in-law into an embrace.

Upon being passed the letter and her emerald hues scanned over the words penned by his Holiness, her expression shifted into a sympathetic smile when her attention finally settled onto the Morovar. A sharp exhale was emitted from her lungs and she interlaced her fingers upon the table. "It's a new start, from the good, the bad, and the ugly. The hardest part is now over, Nikoleta. You're in control of your life again."

"What did Andrik even do?" Elder Hieromonk Vladrick hummed with a bit of worry" I pray he hasn't inherited anything from his Abusive Pader" he'd mutter before penning his Great-Nephew
