KULGAROK'S PRIDE

The horrid dark shaman Kulgarok began without a word. He was born nameless and buried beneath the yellow sands, seen as too insignificant for his parents to counsel with an ILZHONAL. This affliction, brought from the ILZPAAK would create a constant war that would last his mortal life.

Violence was a simple exercise for a child of KRUG, and so he had a place within the orcish military. The strength of the Warnation afforded him a deep bloodlust. Countless orcish soldiers pursued war, and he too would follow. He saddled atop a Jabbernack, wielding a wicked poleaxe, and carved his way towards divinity. The orc would find LAKLUL his patron.

He had changed his name. Became a new orc beneath the Lak banner. Only blood and violence sated the swamp spirit. Under the tutelage of a Lak Wargoth, he was granted power beyond any mortal’s dreams. Kulgarok the Shaman was born when GARDHOLOG the Earth Spirit demanded that he spill orcish blood.  To continue his zealotry, the orc broke the greatest tenant of his people. To slay another orc for the pursuit of power. A painful omen, as it foreshadowed the difficulty in his conflicted future.

Krugmar reveled in the bloodshed of the druids. The Aspects, little more than perversion of  FREYGOTH’s image, stood in the way of  LAKLUL’s progress. They did not revere the Swamp spirit, nor saw LAKLUL’s ascent as a means of saving this twisted earth.  The orcs of Krugmar abandoned any sense of mercy. Kulgarok took their staves and tossed them into volcanos. His savagery became his pride. The gray orc sated his bloodlust until he had found himself a warrior, drunk with ambition.

Metamorphosis came quickly.  He gripped the rungs of power and lifted himself to Wargoth.  With new hands,  he embraced ORGON and found himself spreading a plague that destroyed the continent Vailor. The earth shaman had seen the spirits as a blessing, and instead the spirits had granted Kulgarok a deep darkness. They escaped the plague-filled land, bearing the weight of their sins on their boats.
