[!] Around the sewers and crevasses of the stronghold of the Holy Orenian Empire, come rats dragging tattered missives. These same missives had been hung up along notice boards across the realm. It reads;

“To the citizenry and nobility of Oren; This is a message hailing from the Zealots of the Spiritual Realm. Today, we have come to purge the fake God from your pitiful realm. We have sent our Shamans to your Empires borders, to place upon it a wretched curse that shall twist and torture the land. The land that, by the right of existence itself, belongs to the Spirits. However, not all of you need suffer this fate. Not all of you need be tortured, and sacrificed to the Spirits.

Convert. Drop the fraudulent claims and misteachings that the church of the Canon has bestowed upon your lives, and view upon true power. View what a real deity can bestow upon the mortal realm and to their devotees.

[!] Tied to the missive hang a few artistic depictions of the accursed land. The real thing being all to close by, of course;

“Let be known, that this shan’t be the last of the Spirits’ claimant marks upon their rightful land.”

Minuvas was glad at least the Orc Shamans knew that Oren was the heart of the faith and not Haense. Too bad the Canonist Church didn't.

Grizh cackled as he brew many more hexes

"All da land, all our land, all da zpirit'z land"

In his hand a bottle filled with a dark liquid

"Blood of Kinul ready"

He stood up and walked towards Providence, ready to spread the blessing of the spirits

Remon sits, pondering.

It feels like practically every religion leads to some sort of.. magic power. Except canonism. There may be something in what they say.

But if they wanted to convert the locals, perhaps a demonstration of their power would have sufficed.. instead of cursing the nearby land. Surely all that will do is alienate the noblemen? They're not being very smart about this.. though I can't deny that a holy war would be a spectacle to watch.

He pens a letter to his good friend Artos, reading; Invest in Spirits.

"Zagbal can zuffer later." A hulking dark shaman would say from his lair "Tearz zhall taint dah land ub dah lezzer ub pinkey worzhip." Hur hur hur, he chortled out as drool slowly dripped from his maw to the stone floor below him. "Lup'Kinul, Lup'Leyd."

A speaker in the forums continues "The Urukhiim of Krugmenistan with their Enlightened ways wish to show unto the masses a fact that should help those who question, understand the nature of their reality. After all, is their faith truly in the maker? Or is it simply the Canon. An order In place to direct will of man. The spirits, as embodiments of a truth of reality one can face, endure, explore, and understand, are present not just in the spirit world, but in this metaphysical one as well."

A zealot of the Brazen Bull would remark upon reading the missive, "Da holy-men ob Oren agh Haenze are well within their rightz to worzhip whomever they pleaze. Even if their 'God' iz fake. It waz by thiz faith in the unreal that da humanz created da Immortal Zpirit, Kanon. All thingz am azh with da Zpiritz." The orcish warrior bites into a juicy and succulent red apple before spitting it back into the dirt, apparently dismayed with it's sweetness. "Courze that won't ztop me from flattin' them all da zame. Louzy bugmen."

Ivan var Ruthern looked at the drawing on the missive. "Hey- isn't that Urguanite territory?"

Father Katerina shook her head heavily upon hearing the news

"How shameful of these orc shamans to try and take advantage of Oren and its citizens in such a state when their leaders are anathema. But I know the Orenians are strong in faith, even with its bad apples among the group. They will niet be tempted by these pagans." she huffed

"Something must be done to purge this evil from their lands"
