The Kongzem of Haense recognizes the importance of heritage, even in times of war. Therefore, following a letter requesting safe passage sent to the King, the High Jusiticar recognizes the goodwill of Nikolai V. Othaman and issue this writ of safe passage into the Kognzem and Karosgrad so that he may complete a study on the Haeseni routes of the Othaman family.

 

Nikolai V. Othaman shall be permitted entry into the Kongzem unarmed and with no malicious intent, and in return the Brotherhood of Saint Karl nor the Knight’s Table shall hinder this passage, and all Haeseni subjects shall oblige him with the traditions of Haeseni hospitality.

The Duchess of Cathalon seemed bewildered upon hearing of the statement. She ran across the hall, dodging multiple of the household attendants and bolted outside. The short trip to Rivia was made in record-breaking speed and as Andrea Fredericka finally burst into the sitting room of her grandparents, she pointed an index finger upon her cousin. With burning lungs and heaving shoulders, the child wanted to know:

"W- when- when y-you go t..." she coughed, wheezed and panted, trying to catch her breath, "to- Haense, you- you'll bring back a gift for me, right?"

Unfortunately for that Duchess, the othamanic youth was nowhere to be found in Rivia anymore for he had departed to Valles shortly after her arrival instead the young Othaman prepared his departure towards the Kongzem in Valles, surrounded by his servants. And so the duchess of Cathalon seemed to have pointed on poor George Octavius, Nikolais favorite Cousin, whom he had informed of his departure to Valles. George Octavius proceeded to scratch his head peering around the hall for a moment before turning to Andrea "Yes! Okay!" the youth happily replied completely unsure of why Andrea was speaking to him. Shortly after she departed the young boy fetched one of his servants to pen a letter to Nikolai and inform him of his duty- to retrieve a gift for the duchess.
