THOSE WHO STAIN. THOSE WHO POLISH.

"The filth accumulates, not in the sewers, but in our very streets. The waste that pollutes the once clean walkways of Haelun’or is carried into the hearts of her children. To purge the city she must expel these waste-bearers, for they are disgraceful, lliran. Our city weeps, and her silver tears leak away the memory of a once great civilization. Larihei lives in disrepute, and we are to blame. We have not lived up to her. Examine your hands, and the hands of your lliran. It is time to wash away the filth of the streets”

Ante’vuln Lazul

THOSE WHO STAIN.  It is the mali’aheral who live by the Will of Larihei and her eternal message maehr’sae hiylun’ehya. It is elves throughout the centuries who have strayed from the Silver Flock and lent their ears to cursed ideals which defy our revered Tradition and Silver. It is a disease, but not one our kindred are unfamiliar with – rather it is a plague which is all too familiar, one which our people have done well to not forget.

THOSE WHO POLISH.  It is time and time again the mali’aheral rise, guided by those who shall preserve the ways of their people, and reject the revolting thoughts of the followers of Izalith. Those who shall not stand for the Children of Silver to be led astray from the Path of Larihei, so laid out by the enlightened discoverer of our most blessed Golden Pools. It is the Word of Larihei which shall cleanse Haelun’or. It is the mantle of this Will of Larihei that the mali’thill shall carry forth as they ensure our legacy is tarnished but for moments, and not for longer than is required to so rebuild the way of our people. It is so the wait shall end and so the call of the mali’thill shall be answered.

"I agree, these rebels, these 'ata, those against Larihei must be driven out!" she remarks after the missive was read to her

"Filth in the streets?" the elf asks. "That is what you get for not letting the wood elves become state-approved merchants for their tree-based toiletries. I pray parchment is not too rough..."

"To witness all mali'thill unite in such harmony, put aside any disagreements and rise in strenght against invaders. Historical..." A young Miravaris mused, a hopeful smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Silver does persevere. Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya."

"To quote the poet Gusten Faeliel - the new day shows it's light, our silver revolution has no end in sight!" Elarhil Sullas folded one of the missives and slid it into his pocket for personal keeping, nodding to his lliran, Arasdir.

Striding before and speaks openly in the forums of the great citystate.

"That which calls to abolish the most ancient of our practices, our maehr’sae hiylun’ehya, that is who is most tarnished. The Impure of thought, the Impure of mind, and the Impure of Silver Soul. To imagine one must EVER become less than pure to preserve purity is in itself impure. One must only look to see the faces and hands of those kinslayers and betrayers. Who will never be untarnished from the deeds they have done, as they believe them necessary. Tell me lliran. What is necessary about slaying citizens in the city streets? What is necessary in installing a tyrant in a just system beyond the will of the beautiful people? It is through the path of Larihei, the true progress of our people can be done. Not through the barbarous notions of murderous invaders, but through our most sacred of ways. Truth, and Debate. Something readily avoided by the violent, by the ones who seek to replace us. Every Pure Mali'thill a Patriot, every Patriot a Hero."

Eledar Haler'thilln leaned back, pipe pinned between his lips, remembering the good Gusten Faeliel. "Did you know that Gusten Faeliel, the one you speak of as a 'poet', was granted the title of CHAMPION OF RENATUS, as one of the few that killed the most Mali'fenn during their aggressive fennic campaign against Oren and Haelun'or? An icon of silver resistance, truly."

“A hero and a poet! When The Eternal Library is opened, I shall show you to his work in there, so you may remember his spirit through words written.”

"To be regaled by the Myths and Stories of our most ancient Warrior-Poets, slayers of many 'Ata, The great enemies of our people. May the legends of brave patriots be told forever!"

A poet rumbles out satisfied!

Comrade, believe: joy's star will leap
Upon our sight, a radiant token;
Haelun'or will rouse from her long sleep;
And where autocracy lies, broken,
Our names shall yet be graven deep.

A recognizable 'thill, Valazaer Calith, brushes away the dust on his overcoat and pours himself yet another cup of Haelun'orian Honey Tea. "True silver will remain. Regardless of the results. Haelun'or is the ideology, not the place. It is us, the pure, the people. They cannot destroy Haelun'or, so long as we live."

Valindra had declared herself the wartime janitor of Haelunor. She readied her gear, two daggers, to begin cleansing the city of republicans.
