THE FOLLOWING CLAIMS WERE BROUGHT AGAINST THE DEFENDANT:

 

The defendant allegedly attacked an Elfess; Luthriel, in the tavern with the intent to kill due to her status as a suspected Azdrazi. This was witnessed by multiple people who testified to such.

 

THE RATIONALE FOR THE PRESIDING JOVENAAR IS AS SUCH:

 

As the supposed Azdrazi in question was not the one on trial, they are not the one being judged for their actions and assault is assault no matter who it is against and that is a crime in our Kingdom. If the assaulted elfess were placed on trial on suspect of being an Azdrazi then the verdict for her would be different as for different crimes.

 

As such, to prevent further assault and disturbance of the peace from the Defendant in question the presiding Jovenaar found the descendant guilty and it necessary to sentence him to banishment from the Royal City of Karosgrad for a period of 7 years.

"Azdrazi are demons, we ought to have assisted him in killing it, this is niet justice but an absolute joke. If a Jovenaar is taking the side of demonic entities they ought to be stripped of their position with immeidate effect I bet this Jovenaar did niet put the Azdrazi to death, as it should have been. There is a new specific law that would apply here that means no demonic beings, such as an azdrazi, are allowed within the city but they chose to ignore it to prosecute a brave soul trying to rid the realm of demons. The missive reached a single mother, Luthriel, who began to shake as she read the missive.  She knew too much, and for that, she was hunted.  And now, her hunter was freed, and the whole world might believe a lie about her, sending mages, Cannonists, Paladins, and every sort of decent people against her and her child.  Was there anywhere where she could truly hide?  And when she died- what would happen to her child?
