A depiction of the city of Elysium burning with dragons flame.

Spoiler

From the west a raging pillar of smoke trailed above the skies far away from the walls of Elysium. This smoke would be a dark, black and gray color however it moved slowly towards the wall. As night came, the pillar of smoke was near the edge of the treelines, for what caused it would soon come into view.

A small flame led the front of the gathering, before a marching army of robed men and women exited the forest. At the front of their squadron, there would be a cloaked man holding a staff. At the top of it, a burning red eye; the cause of the pillar of smoke. As many civilians and guards gathered atop the wall they would look down at such a scene, however the flames extinguished and the party of robed individuals disappeared into the darkness.

All went silent in the city, before a scream rang through the night, a calling for help - for anyone.

A chorus of screams and clashing metal would take place within the city square, flashes of light and flames erupted into the night sky, smoke raged onwards, flesh burned, lives were lost. A battle had begun but just as it had started, all went silent yet again. In the midst of the city there would be numerous bodies of the citizens and guards of elysium, each of them breathing shallow breaths in their pools of blood; however all of them remained alive. Their bodies would be scarred with black brandings of the Titan. There would be images of dragons, of draconic eyes, claw marks, etc. across the flesh of their bodies. Their flesh would grow black lines throughout their bodies as azhl anemia set in and the area around them would be scorched black and red from dragon’s flame.

Elysium and her people burned.

[!] A certain halfling could not but stand amidst the burning wreckage, fists clenched as an empty and used medical satchel sat at her feet. She cared not for the flames, the colors pleased her eye. She cared not for the screaming trees, they had not her pity. She cared not as Elysium burned, it had ceased to be her home long ago...

But she listened to the cries and screams of the children, her children of whom she stitched back together, of whom had innocently been caught in the crossfire... She cared not for any country or kingdom, only the people she held close.

And she was angry. Nothing less than wrath overcame the small figure's form... But what was one halfling to do?

Amura gets word of the attack, herself in a land far off. She would have no verbal response, just a sigh as she goes back to giving herself a pedicure.

Somewhere, in a tavern, a Captain is drinking and celebrating with his comrades after a well earned victory, loudly laughing and grinning from ear to ear as he remembered how flames consumed the tainted and despicable city.

A Young elf gains wind of the war, and the wrath that came with. She seemed utterly care-free, as she now lived within the world, the world was now her home, and she seemed please, only worried for those that got caught in the midst of a fight for not freedom but control.

A Courier dressed in pitch black armour would approach the Prince, saluting to him as he handed over a letter detailing the massacre. As Prince Kosher Daesmon read the report, his fists would clench, in his eyes a flame of fury igniting. As a ring was twisted off and set on the table, he would quietly whisper something to the courier, who quickly ran off trembling. As he sat, he would grow impatient, finally snapping out as the soldiers guarding the office room jumped hearing his voice filled with rage. “Rally the Glaiveguard, NOW.”
