Our fourth race of the season, an impromptu affair planned to take place after the wedding of HFSR President Matyas Alban (now Ludovar) and his now wife, Adele Ludovar. This time, unlike previous occasions, the wedding happened! And a fantastic Snailula One race proceeded afterward! The Racers’ Championship is narrowing down, and the Constructors’ Championship has just gotten way more heated!

 

It was a pole position today for the groom, Matyas Ludovar, who, nevertheless, failed to finish a race for a third time consecutively! The race got off to a great start, with many snails going quickly off the line, and for some time, it looked like we may have a lot of finishers!

 

Trouble, however, was not far away, and only six snails managed to finish this race. First out was Skidmarks of Guardians of the Snailaxy, who has yet to manage to finish a race this season. Neither of the LR Snailification Snails managed to make it home, either, nor did those belonging to CR Emma’s Cooking!

 

Ayrikiv Snailworks put in a good performance today, with Isabel Baruch subbing in for Matyas Baruch, and Maric Baruch managing to get his snail, Shmichael Shellmacher, to a second place finish!

 

Snaile Earnhardt Jr. of Erika Barclay managed a second podium of the season, now having finished third twice consecutively, Ricky Bobby taking home fourth place for Force Rhenyari, building onto their previous double finish, and the SNAAB coming home to take fifth and sixth.

 

It was a disaster for HR Alban-Ludovar, who despite celebrating their wedding, and having a pole position for the race (Snark Snailber, the snail of Adele Ludovar, started fourth). Snailber would take and hold the lead for the majority of the race, before crashing out closing into the final corner, while Snettel, who was some ways back, was taken out by Shellita S’cargo along with Chicky Chick.

 

The celebrations, however, were with PR Sigmar-Auréle, with Grigori Vyronov and Body Odour once again partaking in the race in the stead of Lucien de Savoie and Antonius Vilac, for today Body Odour would take home first place, giving the team their maiden victory!

 

As it stands, the Racers’ Championship Standings are as follows:

1st - Emma Bihar and Snailman - 51 points.

2nd - Erika Barclay and Snaile Earnhardt Jr. - 42 points.

3rd - Adrian Colborn and Snickelsen - 35 points.

4th - Amadea Bihar and Snance Snoll - 33 points.

5th - Karl Bihar and Snorlande Snorris - 28 points.

6th - Grigori Vyronov and Body Odour - 25 points.

7th - Isa Basrid and Ricky Bobby - 24 points.

8th - Margrait Ruthern and Shellita S’cargo - 18 points.

9th - Esmée Kortrevich and Chicky Chick - 18 points.

10th - Maric Ruthern and Shmichael Shellmacher 18 points.

11th - Sorina Luceafaru and Snailium the Great Jr. - 15 points.

12th - Lucien de Savoie and Antonius Vilac - 15 points.

13th - Matyas Ludovar and Snailbastian Snettel - 10 points.

14th - Rudolf Vyronov and Snairlwind - 8 points.

Everyone else has yet to score points.

 

As it stands, the Constructors’ Championship Standings are as follows:

1st - PR Sigmar-Auréle - 68 points.

2nd - Force Rhenyari - 57 points.

3rd - CR Emma’s Cooking - 51 points.

4th - SNAAB Ultra Speed - 43 points.

5th - WFR Reinmaren Roadsters - 42 points.

6th - LR Snailification - 18 points.

7th - RB Kortrevich - 18 points.

8th - Ayrikiv Snailworks - 18 points.

8th - Guardians of the Snailaxy - 15 points.
