A very nice aesthetic one can add to a build and makes an area feel more alive. Honestly it can be used to add a set of detail no one really points out yet notice in the back of their head.

To this I say several things

 

1. They where (are?) an elf because every time I played DnD I would roll up a human. So I wanted to do a fantasy setting with a different vibe

2. I THOUGHT LotC was kinda like Lord of the Rings, thus I though high elves specific would be like the elves from Rivendal or lothlorian.

3. I wanted to play a wizard who had a drive to discover knowledge and learn. Kinda boring, but in a world like LotC with so much lore I think it fits pretty well with what I wan to go for

1. You need to know the deep lore of the deep memes

2. I see potential. A world full of lore and character that I personally want to explore and learn both oocly and in character. Why I haven't left is because I still hope for the chance to properly due it (though means like using shunting, or through story events, or through just learning it in character). However there have been times when I really did want to quite (ether silly moderation bureaucracy, lack of opportunity to rp what I really want to do, etc)

My favorite RP moments are few and far between, but my best have to be the following (not in order from best to worst)

1. The general RP I had as a new player in haelun'or
2. Doing the self teach alter event in the firelands. It was what I hoped LotC would be. A pure and super fun adventure type moment that I really want to do again.
3. Being spooked by valannor on his ghost (was a blast)

4. Learning magic irply from several teachers
5. Some CRP moments (they are here and there, but sometimes you end up in a CRP with someone and you really don't mind winning/losing since it is very enjoyable. no powergaming or people trying to go to the extreme to exploit a redline or rule).

6. Being made a drauger in rp.

My proudest moment on the server was getting my first MA through solid rp in the self teach alter. Truly a most rewarding moment. Then there was also making my first MArt (my second one will be more complex and more intersting).

Though i do have my moments of shame I can admit. Probably my time between months 6-8 I acted like a mega retard. So much so i actually left the server partly because I realized out stupid I was (those who know what I am talking about know...)

It be both of the following

 

Explore the deepest of lores and understand the total cosmology of LotC since by its nature Lord of the Craft is one of the most well built worlds I have encountered as a fantasy setting

 

And on a more personal level offer to everyone I encounter good and well made rp experiences. To let people who rp with me remember the experience as a fun and memorable experience that is all in all satisfying to have been apart of. Quality is something i strive to deliver to people now, specially after a large amount of self reflection on my past attitudes and how 'cringe' they have been.
