However, one night, a great and menacing Barn Owl is seen flying over the lands; blue-starlight aligns its path, and a shooting star comes hurling down towards the forest. A raging thunderstorm crackles overhead for numerous days, awaiting the object to crash down. All statues surrounding the forest begin to illuminate from their structured eyelids, glowing a vibrant yale-blue colour. Trees move aside to allow the object to fall into view, and it strikes down onto a slab of wood, covered by thick vines that are besmirched in dangerous, venomous thorns. Something has arrived in the forest. TO THE KNOWLEDGEABLE, The forest begins to shift. Starlight illuminates the sky. You feel a sense of intuition, to discover the unknown. The wisemen seek out their curiosity. The knowledgeable cast their stones. ={X}= ALLAH, THE HEAVENLY DISPOSER. THE ALMIGHTY. THE ALL-LOVING. THE MERCIFUL. AR-RAHMAN. AR-RAHEM. AND YOU WILL BE AL-MALIK. ={X}= The thunderstorm begins to settle. An omnipotent mist of blue begins to spiral downwards, and crashes into the forest. An empty oil-lamp sits on the peak of a hill. It is covered in jewels and gems; the metal is unknown, yet it is ebon-black and gleams a vibrant purple-hue. ={X}= THE OWL CAST ITS’ DIE THE FAITHFUL THE SCHOLARLY THE SAVORERS THE DEVILS WASTE NOT THIS OPPORTUNITY. A cacophonous voice intones. An oil-lamp has appeared somewhere in Almaris. It sits without purpose, waiting for a holder to catch its interest, or to find it before others. The purpose of the oil-lamp is currently unknown. This rumour is spread from word-to-word. From peasant to King, from warrior to creature, and it continues to spread without pause – are these rumours true, or is it a foul-play to lure the greedy? Will it be held by a creature of the dark, a wizard of evil, or a warrior of light? Will it be held by a powerful King that seeks more power, or will it be held by a peasant looking to curate fame? Will good let it get into the hands of bad? The Owl Awaits. Spoiler OOC: A build will be put up soon. I would like to make it clear that last time I did something of this course, it became a jamble of meta-gaming where people were getting their staff friends to fly around searching for the oil-lamp, or they were asking people who found it already in order to have an interaction. Please have fun with this roleplay opportunity. The knowledge of something ‘great’ appearing is public, but try and do something fun. Make a party and go out on an adventure. Just take it in the perspective of roleplay, in truth. Do you want to take the oil-lamp so something more evil doesn’t find it? Or do you want to take the oil-lamp because you want to overcome your enemies of the light? Do you want it simply to find out what it is, or to escape being a peasant? Go crazy, man. I ain’t gonna ask you how to roleplay, but I think it’d be cool if this wasn’t a rushed process hahaha.Unlike last time, I’m not going to tell you guys when it’s been pasted in and is ready to be found.
