It has come to the attention of the Crown that a plague has struck the unassuming citizenry of the Kingdom of Oren, and with it has come a hysteria spreading just as swiftly, just as surely, as the ailment itself. They call it the Blood Rot, and it is undoubtedly a tool of an angry Creator, meant simultaneously to strike fear and admiration into the hearts of a sinful race – a punishment for grievous sin. But this Crown does assure its subjects that the realm of Hanseti-Ruska is safe from this scourge so long as we reject Iblees and accept GOD into our hearts and souls, casting out all those who refuse.

 

The Crown of Hanseti-Ruska does hereby order the following:

I. That any traveler passing across the Haeseni border shall be checked for sickness

II. That medics be trained on signs of Rot and operate under high alert searching for them

III. That the Hospital of St. Amyas cooperates with the BSK to prevent the Rot’s spread

IV. That it’s vassals do aim to absolve the sins of any found to possess Rot on their lands

 

The Crown furthermore advises the following:

I. That citizens remain wary of foreign travel, namely to and from the Kingdom of Oren

II.That citizens engage in daily prayer and frequent confession of sin

III. That citizens make donations to the Holy Mother Church

IV. That sinners be cast from the homes and hearts of the Haeseni citizenry

V. That, if forced to confront the Rot, one should wear a full-faced mask stuffed with sage
