The Story
Tucked away within the Cloud Temple, the Monks have been hard at work, especially with the summer-time enflux of new travellers! As a way to take a break from the work’s stress, the monks of the Cloud Temple have decided to go on a vacation retreat to the most hidden oasis of Almaris.

Since the monks were all gone, they worried about who would be home to watch over the Cloud Temple! Luckily, one had the bright idea of allowing the denizens of Almaris to watch over their humble abode. 

 

Obviously, they undermined the situation, for Monk Korra took it to herself to lead the newfound guardians of the Cloud Temple! In between massive party-paloozas, she thought an old trusty game of Hide and Seek would keep everyone from dying of boredom. With this, she sent all of the Cloud Temple couriers out with invitations!

Will you and your friends join Monk Korra and play Hide and Seek?

 

How to enter?

To enter, simply make a /creq using the following format: 

/creq My group would like to take part in the Hide and Seek event! (List of group member’s IGNs)

 

How will it work?

Each group must amount to at least 5 players. Once everyone has been warped to the Temple, each player will be assigned a number. Then, one of the numbers will be randomly selected, and the person assigned that number will be named the Seeker, and the rest will be Hiders. The Hiders and Seeker will status up accordingly.

The player assigned the role of Seeker will be given a single stick, the blindness effect, and be asked to show proof that they have turned off player name tags. For a single minute, the Hiders will be given the opportunity to run around the build and hide. Once everyone is ready, a countdown will be set off- then, a ten minute timer. Once the countdown has concluded and the timer has begun, the Seeker will be sent off to search for the Hiders. 

If the Seeker finds everyone within those ten minutes, the Seeker wins. If anyone is left standing once the timer has concluded, they will win. Those who win their round of Hide and Seek will be given a special golden ticket.

Rules

• Assure you have at least 5 members in your group.

• Seekers must have name tags off. If they break this rule, they will be barred from participating in this event entirely.

[Elvenar Carnival, Chris Karbach]

 

 

 

 

The Story

All throughout Almaris, whether you mingle with the valorous DRUIDS of the east and south, or travel with the WANDERERS of the north and west, many celebrate the coming of the Summer Solstice. For many, this change in seasons symbolises OPTIMISM, HOPE, and most importantly, ADVENTURE. 

 

With this, the monks of the Cloud Temple have some together once more to curate a set of activities for all of Almaris’ denizens to take part in. Join us for our Cloud Temple Summer Spectacular! We promise, you will not regret it.

How will it work?

After making the /creq, the group will be warped to Mister Pachapooza’s shoppe. There, the group will be seated at a table, greeted by a set of monks. Following some roleplay, the group of players will, together, partake in three rounds. Before each round, they will all agree upon a drink. Each drink will come along with its own system of rolling. Each round, whoever rolls the best, according to the drink’s system, wins! Best out of three takes the cake.

The Story

The outlying islands surrounding Almaris often function as paradise for the Cloud Temple monks. One island in particular always stood out from another. For this one did not house vast beaches or beautiful resorts, but a strenuous course fit for the finest people around! The monks formally invite the most athletic of almaris to take part and race throughout this course against their friends, or foes.

Keep your eyes peeled for a preview of the course!

 

How to enter?

To enter, simply make a /creq using the following format: 

/creq We would like to partake in the Parkour! (The IGNs of the group members)

 

How will it work?

After making the /creq, the group will be warped to the course. Each player will be given a tool to aid, or sabotage themselves or those around them. Following a countdown, the players will set forth, trying their hardest to be the first who makes it to the end of the course.

  • A special golden ticket

Rules

• Assure you have at least 8 members in your group.

[Cherries in Bucket, Levi Wells Prentice]

 

 

The Story

With summer comes a surplus of things: heat, sweat, over-exposure to the sun… and cherries! With the Cloud Temple’s excess supply, the monks have decided to make a new challenge: Cherry Core Spitting! An array of buckets will be set up before Mister Pachapooza’s shoppe! All of Almaris is invited to compete and see who aims the best!

 

How to enter?

To enter, simply make a /creq using the following format: 

/creq We would like to partake in the Cherry Core Spitting contest! (The IGNs of the group members)

 

How will it work?

After making the /creq, the group will be warped to the shoppe. There, they will be met with several hoppers and berries. Each player will have one chance to try to throw one berry per hopper. Whoever makes the most into the hoppers wins!
 

Prizes

• First Place: 

  • Unique CT Signed Item

  • A special golden ticket

Rules

• Assure you have at least 4 members in your group.

The player who amasses the most golden tickets by the end of this month will be treated with something special from the Cloud Temple monks themselves! This includes mina and a top secret reward.
