Fionn__TWG 2616 Popular Post Share Posted July 4, 2022 CONFUSIONEM PURGARE TO CLEAR CONFUSION Addressed to the Faithful Flock of Almaris On the Advancements of Almaris' Landscape 9th of Harren's Folly, 1879 | 9th of Msitza & Dargund, 432 E.S. HIS HOLINESS TYLOS III, High Pontiff of the Church of the Canon, Archbishop of Visigia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Keeper of the Canon, Missionary to Aeldin, High Servant to the Exalted's Testaments, Humble Servant of the Faithful and Vicar of GOD does decree… Most Beloved Brethren of GOD: Many things have changed in the short time since Our last publishing. With the Orenian acquisition of the island which is home to the people of Haelun’or, and the attempts of the Azdrazi to twist the meaning of Our past actions, We feel obliged to release a further publication to address the changes in Almaris’ landscape. On The Words of Morur’ei Last Saint’s Day the cowardly Azdrazi known as Morur’ei has revealed himself to the public of Almaris, preaching what is, at best, blatant half-truths of his interaction with Us. It is imperative that the public know the entire story of Our interaction with the man, so that they may know Our reasoning for ever meeting with such a being in the first place, and what We have to say about such at this moment. To begin, the treacherous heretic claims to have met with Us near a Saint’s Week ago. While he is far off the true time of the meeting, as We were informed of the deception of the meeting at that time, We will not deny such a meeting occurring. However, he lies about the form We met him in. It was not the true form of the Azdrazi that We were greeted with, but rather the humble form of a priest, in a blatant attempt to fool Us into ever meeting with his kind. Had We known of the man’s true identity as a child of Azdromoth, We would never have considered meeting with him. Secondly, the Azdrazi speaks of us agreeing to meet with his people, another half-truth shamelessly used by him in an attempt to tarnish the reputation of the Pontificate. We never agreed to meet with the Azdrazi, simply that We would consider such an offer. Now, however, We see the reason such a request was made by you - so that We may be swayed by the children of Azdromoth, just as the Orcs of the Horde were through your deception. Such was the reason We endorsed the Haeseni and Urguani assault on their land - to cease the spread of your influence on the Descendants of this land. However, such land has now been taken by one of the Canonist princes, and thus We wish to state the following. On The Island of Haelun’or Before, We had once endorsed the efforts of Haense, Urguan, and now Balian to seize the island of Haelun’or from the misguided Orcs of the Horde. Now, however, the situation has changed, with the King of Oren acquiring the land in the Peace of Vienne. While His Majesty, Frederick I, may follow the sect of Owynism rather than the main branch of Canonism, We are glad to see more land fall under the domain of GOD. However, it seems our previous missive has caused much confusion to the public, considering the extremely small timeframe in which both our publication and the aforementioned peace treaty were published. Thus, We make the following decree; With the island of Haelun’or now under the protection of a Canonist prince, We no longer endorse the eastward push of the forces of NATO. Instead, We now make the following implorations; To the forces of NATO It is crucial that needless conflict between Canonist brethren is halted, as the people of Oren follow either the main branch of Canonism or the Owynist sect. As such, We implore this force, led by men such as the Fidei Defensor and the Grand Duke, to turn their attention westward, towards the lands under the influence of Azdromoth, and cleanse such land of their presence. To His Majesty, Frederick I To see the island of Haelun’or be taken from the potential influence of Azdromoth is a pleasant sight. However, the issue still remains that there may be followers of Iblees’ servant hiding inside the domain. As such, We implore His Majesty to allow those capable of doing so to enact an Inquisition on the island, to ensure those in the domain, Canonist or otherwise, are not under the influence of evil forces. However, We know the politics of man are complicated, especially when involving the other Descendant races and non-Canonists, and as such, We pledge from here on out to abstain from further commenting on the events surrounding the island unless absolutely necessary. ☩CUM DEO APUD NOSTRUM☩ WITH GOD AT OUR SIDE

sergisala 2791 Share Posted July 4, 2022 The Chamberlain of Rivia, Lord Lucius Galbraith, remarked the following after reading the Pontifical missive: "Even though that I share a high respect for the followers of Ex. Owyn, I must say that the practice of the main branch of Canonism is still followed by many people in Oren, Your Holiness. That said, today is indeed a great day for Canondom. Regardless of who you are, I think it is crucial that we all remember, especially today, the words of Emperor Aurelius I Horen: Pax Orenia. Peace amongst men. Those words are not irrelevant. Our ancestors from times of yore knew it very well: when we are united humanity is far stronger than when we are divided by petty rivalries. We are stronger together. I personally hope that, from now on, all Canonist nations look at future crises from this perspective before adopting any major political decisions. God save Orenia and Our Holy Mother Church!" he concluded.

Further, they tell, of their willingness to send foes to despoil her soils. Yet ALREADY The Spooks have been driven from Haelun'or. ALREADY do we enjoy lives of blessed peace free from witches, disease, undead, dragons and the impure. We do NE want YOU, who so lowly clawed at us, to trod upon our Sacred Soils. Check your privilege, for we are an oppressed minority."

JoshBright 2104 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Lord Munnel would be sitting down and reading all the missives that he had picked up for flooded into his house, trying to make sense of it all. "It makes zero sense for canonists to be fighting canonists, it makes more sense for them to kill Lizards. However, if Haense and Balian are joining a war in order to kill canonists.... my head hurts. I understand they declared war prior to the Isles being handed over, however, it is in the hands of Oren the canonist forces should push Westward, to the fiery mountains. Not Eastward towards canonist land. Canonist killing canonist did not end well in the past and it will not end well now." he said putting the missive down for a moment and thinking before looking over to his heir @ScarletFrisket, His son Caleb@AgentofDeath13 and his daughter Hera @aech4short before asking a simple question. "What the **** happened to Almaris?" Spoiler Me trying to explain to @SaviourMeme and @_mady07 the current war:
