ISSUED BY

THE HOUSES ROMSTUN,

RUTHERN AND BARUCH

On this 5th of Grona ag Droba, 433 E.S.

For years, the Romstuns have dutifully served House Baruch and House Ruthern alike; Thus, the time to put pen to paper is nigh. And so, in light of the recent tensions brewing across Almaris, House Romstun finally deems an officialized alliance between its closest allies necessary: The Crestwatch Accord, encompassing a tripartite coalition of Houses Baruch, Romstun, and Ruthern.

SECTION I: DEFENSIVE ALLIANCE

I. The signatories hereby agree to a defensive alliance spanning a duration of ten years with the ability of renewal at expiry.

II. The signatories hereby agree that a demonstration of violence towards any entity of this alliance is an attack on the entirety of the Accord.

III. The signatories hereby agree to the expansion of their defensive alliance into a militaristic one should the Kingdom of Haense find itself under threat of war.

IV. The signatories hereby agree to extend their support to any member of the Accord in the case that internal or external conflict may befall one of them.

SECTION II: MILITARY COOPERATION

I. The signatories hereby agree to engage in joint levy training on a yearly basis.

II. The signatories hereby agree to offer militartistic assistance to any entity of the Accord that requires it.

SECTION III: MEMBERSHIP OF THE ACCORD

I. Should any other House wish to join the Crestwatch Accord, each signatory is required to agree in conjunction with such.

II. If one of the three signatories does not agree, another vote to consider the additional House’s membership in the Accord is to be held in the next two years.

"They aren't that rich." Arik Nord muttered, as he continued to restock his shop.

"Do they realise that the whole 'no inter-vassal wars' thing in Haense makes a defensive pact pointless?" Stanimar wonders.

Countess Adele Ludovar raises an eyebrow as she reads the signatures at the bottom of the missive. "That Romstun is a Prinzen of Oren-" She gasps, "How can they justify being in an alliance with a House headed by an ally of Oren, and by extension - The Azdrazi..."

Waldemar the Stout spits to the side, clearly unamused by the formalization of relations with brigands and ne'er-do-well within Haense - especially ones with no qualms subverting the Kingdom's laws.

"The Barutherstum complex is truly insidious." He mumbles along as he sticks a straw of wheat between his teeth, continuing his harvest in Reinmar.

"Stayeth pressed Barclames and Ludofarts." Alistiar Hamish Baruch-Gant would exclaim before telling the Bards to crank it up louder!
