We swear these vows, clad in sunlight eternal,

The worn nib of a quill scratched sapphire ink into artisan parchment - the Keeper’s eyes worn and weary, the only light to aid her radiating from the candlestick she kept by her bedside. Until suddenly, there was precious little space left to work with - she blinked, scanning the space before her a few times as if she’d missed something. It was only after long moments did she realize it; She’d missed nothing at all. After half a century, she had run out of parchment. There was naught left to scribe.

 

Her work was done. The Great Work was finished, at long last.

 

A few dry chuckles left dry and chapped lips, her head shaken in disbelief. Unsteady, she made her way to her bed at long last, collapsing into pillows of geese feathers and a mattress of velveteen wool. Her assistants would handle the appropriate distribution - but for now? 

 

For now, The Keeper would rest.

This marks the official end of the Paladin Culture project. Spanning a lean 10+ months of work by myself, @shartings, @Viraj Dobrial, @firespirit44, TiniestDragon, and many others, a single document comprising 63 pages and 28.5k words has been fully written, detailing and overhauling every aspect of Xannic culture, history, and tradition. Around a half dozen items representing this document will be given to various prominent Paladins over the next few weeks, for them to do with as they so please. The end title of this work has been dubbed 'The Golden Scrolls', and it is my hope that with this project now completed, the Paladins of Xan will never again be put into a position where they are left clueless on what Paladin RP truly entails, and the legacy we all follow. 

 

Thank you all for your hard work, support, and dedication to this community. I will be taking a small break after this monumental, leviathan project.
