HIS HOLINESS TYLOS III, High Pontiff of the Church of the Canon, Archbishop of Visigia, Successor of the High Priesthood of the Church, Supreme Pontiff of the Church of True Faith, Keeper of the Canon, Missionary to Aeldin, High Servant to the Exalted's Testaments, Humble Servant of the Faithful and Vicar of GOD does decree… As written by Acolyte Hector, personal assistant to the Pontiff Most Beloved Brethren of GOD: It is with heavy hearts that the Church of the Canon announces the declining health of His Holiness, Tylos III, as well as the Vicar’s comatose state following a horse-riding accident within his childhood lands of Reinmar. During what seemed like a regular activity for the Reinmaren Pontiff, His Holiness abruptly turned leftward, after an extended period of gazing out in the direction, before dashing across the countryside. After exhausting his horse, the Pontiff was then suddenly bucked off and onto the ground. He has been unresponsive since. With this sudden action, the physicians currently caring for His Holiness worry for his mental state, noting the seemingly sudden shifts in character from the man’s childhood. As well as such, after a lengthy check up session on the comatose Vicar’s body, physicians have noted an irregular heartbeat, a new ailment recorded for him. It is for these reasons that they suspect the Pontiff is within his last years of life, and only time shall tell whether he awakens from his slumber before such time ends. The Church must keep moving forward, regardless of any setbacks it suffers. As such, the role of acting Head of the Faith falls to His Eminence, the Vice-Chancellor, Archbishop Adrian of Albarosa, until the time comes where either His Holiness awakens from his comatose state, or he ascends to the Seven Skies.
