HIGH_FIRE 4117 Share Posted August 7, 2022 A Declaration from The Magisterium 18th of Peter’s Glory, in the Year of our Lord, 17 Balian's Age. The Office of the Magister would like to make a statement on the modification of the Magisterium, the legal department of The Grand Duchy of Balian. The following changes are to be made to the Magisterium’s structure. The Kritai will remain as they are, they are still the judges of Balian and will follow the role as set out in the last declaration. The Tribonian Quaestors disbanded, their jobs to be seperated to the public and Company of Balian as follows. The Company of Balian will henceforth have the ability to investigate crimes in Balian as they see fit. They will be granted access to the Balian Crime Submissions of which the Magister and Constable will oversee together. The NCOs of the Company will be responsible for leading the investigations. The citizenry of Balian will henceforth be granted the ability to apply for a Licence to practice legal matters. To apply for one of these, you must complete an interview with the Magister. Once you are successful you will receive one. Any case they complete for the Grand Duchy will result in a 10 mina compensation.
