"How the spider's web is spun ever further on...how fate ripples with every action." Mused Nehtamo upon reading the missive. "Everything in balance, everything in turn, the world will go on and on...ever spiraling, ever misunderstood." Folding it away, however, he would begin to dust off his levyman's armor from the days of Acre's rebellion, contemplative.

A young and growing Acre-boy finishes his logging run when he overhears talk of a Crusade. Clutching a wooden cross 'round his neck, he rests his axe over his shoulder. "Didn't think it would be this soon, though God wills it."

A young woman with romanticized ideals of gallantry, Elena Camian, remarked, "Though we may not see eye to eye on matters of faith, to illuminate the darkness is a blessed act no matter the hand which holds the torch. They shall have my sword - Seremus Delenda Est!"

Ser Uther of Acre draws his sword, hoisting it skyward.

"DEUS VULT! NON NOBIS DOMINE!"

A boy would glance down at the knight from the walls of his keep, his hand slowly curling around the pommel of his arming sword.

"Deus vult," He utters, as the men of Acre raise their blades.

Elsewhere, a knight, more akin to rattling bones in a rusted suit of armour than a soldier of many Kingdoms and Empires past, tugs his cloak tighter around him.

He marches warily towards Serheim, seeking death, glory, or both.

Some creature reads the missive by the fire, kicking her legs up with an uncanny grin "How sweet" That same creature then heaved herself from the seat that was a good distance from the hearth reaching for her kettle she'd idly work on brewing some tea. "Took them long enough really, I did that decades ago." she'd coo with a little hum, "Greener pastures..."

Lady Johanne Vuiller, descended from Saint Harald Vuiller, the Saint of Priest Combatants and Demonic Banishment prepared for a crusade. Her cross fit at her neck, hair tied tight within a veil, stray strands of blonde peeking past to frame icy blue eyes. Potions of varying kinds sat at her hip, alongside a blade that's seen her through many a fight.

"For the Eagles foresight, we reign victorious. Saint Harald, I pledge on this day I will do what is righteous and what is holy as your descendant and a proud canonist." The lady then signed the Lorraine and uttered a prayer.
