Qizu 3867 Share Posted October 12, 2022 Settlement PRO MC Name: Qizu Settlement Name: The Lands of Un'Satum Proposed Settlement Locations (Highlight 3 on the map): Settlement Lore (could include previous roleplay posts showing involvement with the community) (1000 words minimum):https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SrCGXrksoiLikmzfaltc4-k8uo6uyBgzCdmeOUPzcZo/edit?usp=sharing Settlement Government Structure Explanation:Dictatorial Hierarchy - This settlement will be led by a close group of individuals through the means of a “dictatorship. We plan on having two main leaders who will guide the nation with assistance of other characters within the group who have aided in the creation of this project. Settlement Builds and Infrastructure (photos required):Below is the city we have made on a world download of tile 123 which is completely finished and ready to be pasted should this application be accepted. How does this settlement offer a unique niche not already found in an existing polity on the server?: Whilst this would make it the second orc group on the server, this offers a unique niche as it not only returns orcs to desert-like lands, but allows for an open connection to the orc race with the rest of the server. Within our lore we stressed to make changes to how this group will differ based off of the feedback received in my recent post. Within this post there are many changes asked for like the decrease of toxicity, the removal of blah, and many of things that reflect upon the goals we have with this group. Within the lore we would also like to note that we did not list much of a "culture" as we wish to see it develop on it's own without pushing for a forced upon lore guidline and allows players to develop their characters as their own whether they be orcish warriors, poets, cooks, templars, scholars, and so forth. What makes it so that this fills a unique niche upon the server, is the fact that with Krugmar's long running lore and history, it carries alongside it many bad memories with players who had horrible experiences within the past, as well as a community that lacks willingness for bold changes such as listed above within our lore. By allowing this settlement to be created it would open a completely different option of orc-roleplay to the server. An option like this is verywell what could prohibit the race from falling in to deep trenches of inactivity as they have in the past.https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/217081-what-stopped-you-from-playing-an-orc/ How does your settlement tie to the greater lore and narrative set by the community on LotC?: This settlement ties to the greater lore and narrative in many ways. Given that it is an orcish settlement it provides a new hub for one of the least played races available on the server. As of late many have lost interest in the direction of the current orc nation, as well as the only orc roleplay hub on the server having extremely low activity numbers. As per the lore this opens many more doors as it allows for every character’s story on the server to become intertwined with a new variation of orcs and allows for their stories as well as the server’s lore in general to embrace a new approach to this long running descendent race. Have you ever run a settlement on LoTC before and what experience do you have with leadership within roleplay communities among the current groups of players?: Yes, to this date I have lead Krugmar/Eternal’Uzg, Renelia, Mau’Madur, Dreki (FRP), Veldenz (FRP), The Academy, Clan Lur, the Sarkozy Family, New Esbec, Corcitura Groups, Spook Groups, and more. Below I have listed the activity data for when I last lead the orc race. I would like to add that this data was also not achieved through wartime activity numbers.Beginning 07/19/2020tile_13 krug Nation 4 3.69%tile_13 krug Nation 6.69 6.24%krug Nation 3.62 3.43%tile_13 krug Nation 2.23 2.5%tile_13 krug Nation 3.5 3.71%tile_13 krug Nation 3.62 4.32% tile_13 krug Nation 5.19 5.83%krug Nation 4.23 5.17% krug Nation 4.04 5.14%End 09/13/2020 Do you understand the metrics for maintaining activity and the grounds for settlement removal, along with the standing polity cap? Yes.
