And just as the mists of the Hallows make their rounds, uncertainty churns about the homeland. With what fear comes of the people, ghouls and vengeful spirits shall emerge to partake in a feast of legend. - Though be warned, no single soul shall be spared upon the hour that reigns in the Eve of Hallows. Join the Crown of Amaethea and her people in a night of endless festivity. As the descendants and forgotten alike come together in a night of endless attraction and fanfare. [[OOC: Friday, October 21st @ 6:00 PM EST]] A T T R A C T I O N SHAUNTED HOUSES Feast of the Undead Partake in a lavish feast, whose attendants are all undead monstrosities commanded by the Lord of Blight himself. With your companions, make your best attempt to break free of the Lord’s dinner to see the light of a new day. The Curse of Sesshō Upon the boardwalk, undead Oyashima fishermen emerge from the waves to seek revenge on those who have plundered artifacts of legend. Set forth with your companions through a seemingly endless maze as these fearsome seamen chase you. GAMES Numerous games will be hosted throughout the duration of the event, with titles such as: The Sword in the Stone, Bobbing for Apples, and the Pumpkin Race. Join the rest with a pocket full of mina and a spirit for winning! CONTESTS The Spooktacular Costume Contest Contestants of all ages are invited to compete in the festival’s Spooktacular Costume Contest! To which all will be challenged to put together a custom and show in competing for one of three grand prizes! The contest will be held upon the commencement of the festival’s opening ceremony. Winners will be determined via a crowd vote! Spoiler GRAND PRIZES First Place A portrait done by the hand of one of Amaethea’s most beloved painters! [OOC: A half-body art commissioned by Wolfram. Valued at 15 USD.] Second Place A voucher for a custom-made outfit! [OOC: Outfit commission slot by PeachLova] Third Place One hundred minas! RULES 1. Costumes of all types will be accepted for entry! So long as the costume in question is appropriate. [OOC: Adhere to the LoTC rules for costumes.] 2. Individual entries only, couple or trio entries are unallowed. 3. Be prepared to give a show of your costume! [OOC: An entry requires one full emote describing the individual’s costume.] 4. When the final announcement for contest entries has been made, no more entries will be allowed. So do come on time. The Pumpkin King’s Pumpkin Carving Contest Contestants of all ages are invited to try their hand at winning the Pumpkin King’s favor at the Pumpkin Carving Contest! To which all who enter will compete by carving a pumpkin of their choosing. A panel of judges will aid the king in his decision towards a winner. The contest will be held shortly after the commencement of the costume contest. Spoiler GRAND PRIZES First Place A voucher for a custom-made outfit and an honorary trophy! [OOC: Outfit commission slot by PeachLova] Second Place 100 minas and an honorary trophy! Third Place 50 minas! RULES 1. Each contestant is allowed one pumpkin and a set of tools to carve. [OOC: Pumpking carving will require a minimum of two emotes. All contestants must sketch their carving via MSPaint. At the end of the contest, all entries will be sent to the contest organizer.]2. Each contestant is allowed fifteen minutes to carve their pumpkin. 3. When the final announcement for contest entries has been made, no more entries will be allowed. So do come on time. Shortly after the announcement has been made, carving will begin. SHOPS In addition to all the festivities, numerous shops will be posted for endless browsing and shopping: The Golden Dragon Toy Stand A pop-up toy stand hosted by the owners of the Golden Dragon Toy Store! A selection of the store’s most popular plushies will be on sale, in addition to an exclusive line of festival plushies! Face Painting and Mask Shoppe A festival stand for those seeking an added flair to their ensemble. A skilled face painter will be present for anyone interested in having their face painted to whatever ghoulish vision they may have in mind! Masks will also be on sale. Refreshments Stand Join the crowd in the tavern for a round of cool drinks and hearty dishes! And so much more!
