A MEDIA TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT

-

Meet the Humans

With the recent focus of the reinvigoration of the CT Media Team sect we’ve brought in a number of editors and video makers to help us bring life to all aspects of our youtube and social media presence. And with this, we are happy to present the trial video of one of our new editors @subatomic. The purpose of this video was to let new editors get accustomed to editing styles, and the flow of the media team whilst also bringing some life to the Youtube Channel. Thank you to @subatomic for all his hard work, and we look forward to seeing what brings in the future.

Also, a request from @subatomic. If you have any criticisms for the video, please message them to him directly at atomic#6149 on discord.

And without further ado, please enjoy the video.

Finally good to see some initiative taken by Media Team. Hopefully we see more of these in the near future.

The Red Faith info is wrong but otherwise, cheers.

Yep. It's so funny how they just glanced over it as well while Canonism got a little more in-depth explanation.

To be fair, right, you're not really going to see All-Fatherism outside of Norland, whereas Canonism is everywhere else for humans in some form or another.

Edit: Except, MAYBE, for the farfolk desert cultures that are more islam based, which didn't really get a shoutout at all.

This is true. However, if they're going to mention more obscure topics whether it be a religion, culture, etc. they should at least be putting in some extra work behind the scenes to ask the people behind that stuff for an accurate summary so that people have a chance to accurately learn more and decide if that is something they would be interested in.

Yeah, I think a 3 1/2 minute video for each subtype of human would have made more sense, especially with how vastly different the cultures are and how idk intense? the history for each subtype is.

Hanseti was the successor state not Haense. This is the equivalent of saying the United Kingdom was founded in 927 AD because England was. Dunno where you got this idea because no wikipage or forum thread makes this claim.

Also like, some of these lines, "at its peak it covered much land and had many riches". Like come on. What's the point in even having a line as meaningless as that? You should either cut lines like that out or DM an Aegis player who could give you some actual names and figures to work with ("it stretched from Alstion in the frigid north to the Whispering Isles in the balmy south", or "it boasted the most populous and cosmopolitan city in Aegis", etc.)

Other lines like "ranging from black to brown", "kingdoms led by a king", etc. just show that a lot of carelessness went into writing the script, which is a shame because the filming and editing is actually pretty nice.

Thank you for all the comments on the script, going forward we will put more of a focus on checking through the scripts we write and making sure that the information on them are correct. We didnt realize how much we could have messed up, and we hope to vastly improve as we go on.

Thank you for the critique

The video and editing are very nice, but I would highly recommend that your script go through a copy editor next time.
