We're primarily aiming to get tile 6, as there were certain agreements made a while ago with a pre-built lair prepared to be pasted.

Why can this group not fulfill their roleplay niche in an existing settlement or nation? (Give a detailed answer and examples of how this has not worked in the past.):

External forces have long pressured the Fenn to convert religiously, or culturally in the absence of the Princedom’s rule. Now more than ever. All of Fenn’s traditional allies are settled in an ‘inhospitable’ environment in the eyes of the ‘fenn. In all the allies of the ‘fenn, they would have to surrender an unacceptable level of autonomy should they wish to have land, in addition, they face two options with every major choice: ‘Cultural genocide’ in the matter of losing their traditional cultural values. Or direct loss of rights. Both are totally unacceptable for the Fenn.

In the past, the Fenn has consistently been shoved into a singular building within a city, be it a manor or a barracks, in which we did not have the room to express our own culture properly. No time in the last 3 maps have we had a proper vassal, we have always existed as a conclave, scattered, and struggling to maintain the culture in a foreign environment or in the Princedom. The ‘fenn have a long irp history of mistreatment even in allied nations.

As long as a Tundrak lives, there is a person and a place to rally around. The Tundraks will not accept being a subject, due to the history of exploitation mentioned above.

How does this lair add to the greater world around it? How will its existence benefit its roleplay group and the server at large?:

The‘fenn traditionally live in the north. This is the place the snow elves were written to live in, and the culture works the best there. A settled village for the ‘fenn to live in would not only provide the 3rd area of roleplay in the north, an elven base in a human-dominated section of the map, but also an alternative for elven players who find themselves trapped between Celia’nor and Ameathea.

But importantly, and primarily, it offers a safe haven for cultural snow elves in their ancestral home. A place where they can, not prosper per se, but at the very least not stagnate. A place where they have full autonomy, swearing no vows to foreign powers, and still holding the respect of former Malin’or states.
