Lair Lore (supply link to an existing creature or other lore if being used as basis for this lair) (1000 words minimum):

Through bitter, frost ridden winds to deadly paths of snow of the far North, there exists a large manor hued in a pearlescent white, mixed with contrasting ebony details. The roof displays an elegant but comfortless gradience of turquoise and dark cyan, both colours complimenting the other in a peculiar way. Belonging to the Mor’giela family of high elves, this mansion was recently passed to their only living blood relative, Finneandria Mor’giela. Each Mor’giela had suffered an ominous fate of deception, having been driven into madness or death by a horrific curse. This curse never skipped a relative, something that fate had placed upon those that bore the family name. This imprecation was never brought upon them by their own actions, but more so their misfortunes. Every individual encompassed in their bloodline was met with unsparing ends and insanity through one dark creature, the vampire. Whether it was a direct death by this beast, or the madness of being mutated into one, the Mor’gielas were eternally cursed to be connected to vampires in every way possible. What was once a first generation’s beautiful holiday manor, had transformed into a gloomy estate, tainted by the thoughts of diseased lineages and now a haven for vampires alike.

Why can this group not fulfill their roleplay niche in an existing settlement or nation? (Give a detailed answer and examples of how this has not worked in the past.):

Previously, a town called Dobrov was destroyed and rid of most of their spooks / vampires. There are many towns and cities who are very anti-spook and this would be a good opportunity to make a small community, a coven of sorts where they can hide from said monster hunters and rp as a vampire freely, lowering the risk of being staked or cured. we want to create a new, safer space and rp centered community for those who love darker aesthetics and roleplaying as or with vampires. If you walked around a place like Petra or Norland with fangs and claws out, clearly stating your a vampire, you very may well be harmed or brought into trouble of sorts.

How does this lair add to the greater world around it? How will its existence benefit its roleplay group and the server at-large?

We want to make sure that spooks don't have to shelf their characters because they feel unfulfilled or not as immersed in roleplay as they should. It will create a symbiotic relationship that gives monster hunters an addition in investigation roleplay as well as vampires and descendants who wish to serve vampires a place to dwell. With a manor like this we could help spooks to provide a more fulfilling experience for people who would like to join the dark rp community and for spook hunters alike. It could give more people an opportunity to join a coven rp and interact with each other as a vampire and not a descendant, hiding the creature their persona really is.

Application completed.

Denied.

Lair unnecessary for group, build unrepresentative of what a lair is meant to be.

We advise doing this roleplay in cities or towns to promote group roleplay.
