A war-torn Dame watched from the ground as Cloudbreaker was taken from the sky and dragged with the worm as it burrowed ...

Deeper,

and deeper.

She fell to her knees, letting out some ungodly screech as the ground shook one last time. It was gone, but for how long?

News from the many witnesses of the fall of Cloudbreaker reached a former, ancient Lector who remembered years as a teenager in Yong Ping and Luciensburg when the great winged beast would pass over them, from when it purged the taint of Luciensburg to when it flew within wing's distance of Feldersrock. Although he wasn't exactly sure what had occurred when Cloudbreaker fell, all he could do was let out a hefty sigh and contemplate his shared history with it. Truly no one but Creator and His Creation were eternal, he thought to himself and mumbled a silent prayer for the Dog.

Spoiler

Great finale for the Dog as we knew him and a new chapter for the Dog to come!

Ilaria squinted at the curious flower in her hand, having been in the process of drying out clumps of these lavender-like flora.  Her eyes felt strained in the morning light; having been up well before the dawn.  Her sleepless nights were increasing with the tension spilling more and more over the land, more matters began to haunt her than usual.

Ponderlot, a voice from memory explained. That's what I use; helps keep me from going mad.  It could help you, too - eases the nerves.

"It'll help me get through these turbulent times," Ilaria muttered.  "We all need to get past the end."

The Nephilim spoke a prayer for the cloudbreaker drake, humming in tune with the fire that surrounded him. Before he dropped an odd flower atop where it was slain.

KAIROS PULLS HIMSELF FROM THE RUINS OF THE MOUNTAIN, his fur charred and skin burned. Upon his form his Labrys nought, but in the belt of another. Then with Fire, it was recalled.

From his injured state did he watch the fight, dipping in and out of consciousness, carried to and fro from places of safety. When he watched that Drake fall, did he speak with an archaic tongue; a prayer of solemn.

[!] With a rush of wine-dark tears, a mali' is overcome by some wretched realization.

She wakes from her meditation with a stuttering breath, hands clutching to her throat.

Memories of alliances forged and left to rot. Of divinations offered in misguided fervor.

Of the sky, struck through by scarlet death and a sprawling bough. [!]

A Wisdom of old had sighted the death of this drake firsthand, at the very tyranny of a mongrel-like beast wrought of flesh and demonic flame. She pondered, drafting and therein drinking a tincture of crimson red with the occasional petal of a white lily flower, and sprinkled over with powder of proto-salium chunks.

Spoiler

Only got to interact with the event yesterday, wish I had been able to experience more of it.

Thank you and whoever made this happen (shoutout to builders) for the hard work!

Breaching the Earth, ivory extremities aged by time's passing made their effort known, a tumultuous rise and sundering of roots and plant-life alike; their destruction sourced from a rising member of the dead, living anew. Gashadokuro rose, on the eve of the concluded deed it skulked back to it's lair, in preparation of what comes next. . .

Catching the news from the wind - and spoken from visions found in flames, the red-robed figure of the An-Gho adjusted black strings to a great golden instrument.

Though mighty cloudbreaker was dead, the rotted Pale Wizard, Sorcerer of the Great Monument, had awoken from deaths temporary grasp feeling now for the first time in decades true violent joy. Its years of plotting came forth, and it shattered its jailers with eldritch vengeance. It looked to the stars and reached to clasp them. Eternity among them now awaited- yet doubt lingered, a dreadful sense of doom haunted his mind.
