It is with no doubt that the people of Haense have watched with keen excitement as wedding bells have tolled throughout the Realm these people couple of years, and therefore it does greatly please the Crown to finally announce the wedding of His Serene Highness, Georg Sigismund, to Her Excellency, Esfir Kortrevich. 

 

Let it be known that every person of our Kongzem, as well as every ally and their citizens too shall be invited to attend this affair in the Basilica of St. Henrik. After the wedding, the following two months shall be spent on celebrations.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY [FRIDAY 4PM EST]

The nuptials of the Kusoraevian couple shall take place within the Basilica of St. Henrik in the streets of Karosgrad, followed by a brief reception within the Morrivi Prikaz of dining and merriment. Those who wish to present gifts are most welcome to, and may do so during the reception.

 

THE BAROVIFEST [SATURDAY 5PM EST]

In the month following the wedding ceremony, a Barovifest shall take place in the Royal Capital of Karosgrad, arranged under the guiding hand of the Grand Princess of Kusoraev. There shall be many activities during the Barovifest, such as Tiberala, an archery competition with a mina prize, the traditional Bratkonhart - a melee competition, with the winner rewarded both mina and the title of ‘Hauckort’ or ‘the Great Bull’, and the light-hearted Harutopolta, the Battle of Fruits. Food and drink will be provided by the Haeseni Tavern, ‘The Goat’s Lookout’, as well as symbolic crowns of chamomile and ‘Maskoez’ - wooden masks carved in the comedic shapes of various animals.

 

THE CELEBRATORY JOUST [SUNDAY 3PM EST]

After the month of Barovifest celebration, the people are all invited to attend the Grand Prince’s passions, through means of a grand joust to be held for all the Realm and beyond, which shall utilise new experimental measures for the bracket to create further competition.

 

THE ROYAL PROGRESS

Following the end of the celebrations, the newlyweds shall begin on a progress of the Realm, visiting for short periods every vassal of the Realm, where they shall dine, live with, and partake in their family traditions, so that the Royal couple may know better the people that they are to rule over in the future.

Princess Sofia de Pelear begins preparations for a song for Prince Georgs wedding, much like she did her sisters alongside her preparations for her upcoming Quinceanera. Soon, lyrics are drafted out upon a page, sitting daintily upon a seat within her tower as she thought over what song might fit the groom-to-be. Even as she wrote, fine decorations began their arrival, ferried into the palace by many a worker. Time to multitask.
