Izelle Py'lrie, quite the bubbly happy child despite her cursed features wouldn't know right away about the news of her Haelun. Instead, she sat before the Krugsmas tree, chattering away to anyone who would listen about how she, the great Izelle Py'lrie will heist the star from the top of the tree and bring it home for her Haelun! Her hands waved animatedly and she'd speak with a beaming smile.

That beaming smile soon turned to tears at the news, the girl locking herself in her room for days and her once beloved fish belly-up in the tank, uncared for.

As soon as Niri'ath Py'lrie heard the news, he dropped to the ground - his heart racing. He cursed. He shouted. Why could this happen? He wasn't particularly close with Rosina, but Talonii means family, and that's what Rosina was to Niri. As the anger and frustration passed, he swore. "Ros, I will light a candle every day for you until we meet again. Van'ayla, cousin."

A pyre is lit, and a woman repents betwixt a mound of bones, all stripped of flesh beneath the moon, singing lowly; “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy..”

A ghostly figure watches quietly from the tavern, murmuring to themselves as yet another body is laid upon the Celia'nor doorstep. There it is- another face, another presence so abruptly ripped away from the world. "Maybe.. She will escape the soulstream too?" It theorizes quietly to itself, fingers tapping on the windowsill. Maybe, there was chance for a new friend.. Though, they doubted Rosina would wish to see their face, the idea brought them some calm. Still, a new crack forms along the wall of the tavern, signifying the loss of yet another life.

An elf frowns. She sits up in bed, narrowing her haggard eyes, drawing her knees to herself. "Really?"

A confirmation.

"Damn. You hate to see good doctors die."

". . .Means I'll have more work to do."

When Briga was alerted to her friend's death, she was mortified. All the more so when the state of her body became known to the Dwarf.

"Feckin' 'ell... Rosina..."

Irelia Py'lrie was told the devastating news whilst in the comfort of the Py'lrie estate. Her violet orbs glazed over as she struggled to hold back the tears that welled in her eyes. Irelia, the step-mother of dear Rosina would soon feel guilt and regret brewing inside the depths of her heart as she failed to be the mother Rosina needed her to be, even when Rosina wasn't her biological daughter she still held hatred for herself allowing for something of this nature to happen. How will Atheleon, her husband feel towards Irelia now as he heard her speak in the past the terms of keeping Rosina safe at any cost of her own? These thoughts raced through her brain endless times, while all she could do in this moment of darkness was stare out from her balcony, rubbing her restless hands together in an attempt for some form of comfort.
