The Contract of Eagle and Elm

 

 

This agreement is dated the 3rd of Sun’s Smile, 39 B.A and made between the Vuiller Household and Kervallen Household, for the purpose of setting forth the exclusive terms and conditions by which the Kervallen Household desires to acquire the Vuiller Household services.

 

In consideration of the mutual obligations specified in this Agreement, the parties, intending to be legally bound hereby, agree to the following:

 

1. Services.  The Vuiller Household will provide guidance to the budding family within Balian, namely the Countess Johanne Vuiller herself and get them settled in a more proper fashion as listed during negotiations.

(b) The exchange of personal tradition is made as agreed upon in negotiations, allowing an integration of culture between the two families.

(c) A set of clothing from the Silken Lily tailory will be provided for the entirety of the Kervallen Household.

 

2. Consideration / Compensation:

 

(a) In exchange for the full, prompt, and satisfactory performance of all Services to be rendered to the Kervallen Household, they shall provide the Vuiller Household compensation in one thousand [1000] minas for the clothing and services.

 (b) Alongside the delivery of three [3] enchanted rods after the defense against the Undead Dragon of Balians attack has come to a close.

 

(c) The Vuiller Household is not entitled to receive any other compensation or any benefits from the Kervallen Household. Except as otherwise required by law, the Kervallen Household shall not withhold any sums or payments made to the Vuiller Household here.

 

3. Nondisclosure and Clauses:

 

(a) The services provided, should payment not come in full and the Vuiller Household side of the contract is filled, renders the contract null and void and legal action able to be taken against the Kervallen Household to the full extent of the law.

(b) The services provided, should they not come in the time agreed or be withheld after payment in full, renders the contract null and void and legal action able to be taken against the Vuiller Household to the full extent of the law.
