As you walk down the dimly lit back-alley of the Al Khazar slums, you catch a glimpse of the tip of an old parchment. Your curiosity gets the better of you, you examine the tattered scroll closer. It speaks of a group of mercenaries and bandits, which the author refers to as ‘The Brothers’. Intrigued, you read on.

You. You, a man of no virtue, without morals. You believe in no god, have no affiliation with a faith. A person who goes to great lengths to increase your personal wealth, whether it be by being a petty thief, or a corrupt politician. You’re the kind of person society shuns, banished from the lands, spoken of as wicked. I, on the other hand, welcome you as a friend. I extend my hand to you, and offer you a very generous opportunity. I invite you to join my organization, a group of criminals and the like. Our goal is a simple one, to fill our coffers to the brim. We are known as ‘The Brothers’. We hide in the shadows, waiting to snare our prey. Our prey, you ask? All of Aegis. Some envy us, the rest despise us. Interested? Good. OOC information

The Brothers is a new group, in need of new members. Joining now will give you a high chance of obtaining a high ranking position within the organization. Our main purpose is to simply gain personal wealth. Your payment in the guild will be determined by the loot we get from our victims. To increase our income, we also own several side-businesses. These include mineral stores, back-alley drug dealing, and casinos, anything that can catch us some coin. We also accept assassination contracts, which I’ll talk about later. As for joining, fill out the application below. I’ll send you a message giving you further details.

Ranks of the Guild

Initiate: As an initiate, you’re expected to prove your worth to the guild. Your main job as an initiate is to work in the mines, build defenses, and collect other essentials to our cause. To rank up, you must carry out one job assigned to you by myself, and complete the initiation test.

Apprentice: As an apprentice, you’ll be given a mentor. Your mentor is your instructor, who will teach you the foundation and rules of the clan. After your training, you’ll be immediately promoted to the next rank. You’ll be given the choice of advancing to the rank of thief or worker.

Thief: The thieves are the fighters of the guild. A veteran member will bring three thieves with them to hold up people along the King’s road. They get 15% of the profit earned on the robberies. They will do this for a period of time, until they are given the privilege of joining the Highwaymen.

Worker: As a worker, you have two jobs within the group. Your first job is to work for an owner of one of our side-businesses, such as our casino. Your second job is to collect valuable recourses for the group, whether it be by working for it, or robbing a man on the street. Once an amount of money has been gained for the group, you’ll advance on to the rank of owner.

Highwayman: The highwaymen are the foundation which the group stands on. They commit independent thefts and robberies. They get the privilege of keeping an astounding 30% of the loot they gain. They are also given the occasional bounty contract. After a period of time, at the highwayman’s discretion, they may chose to advance to assassin, or become a veteran.

Owner: As an owner, you completely own one of our side-businesses. You make sure the business is running smoothly, have an adequate amount of resources, and make sure we’re making a profit. After this, you may choose to take a test to join the council.

Assassin: The assassins are those who have been with the group for a long time, and have shown their worth to the group. The carry out the majority of our bounty contracts, and keep an amazing 50% of all loot they gain. An assassin may also take the test to join the council.

Veteran: These individuals are those who have gone through the ranks, and know how the group works. As a veteran, you have the choice of doing two things. You can either be a mentor for an apprentice, or you may teach the thieves during their journey to becoming highwaymen. Veterans may also decide to take the test to join the council.

Council: The council are the ruling body of The Brothers. On top of their old position, they are given the honor of maintaining the group. They keep track of all of our income, our members, find contracts for us to take on, and anything pertaining to the running of the group.

Leader: Myself. I control everything that pertains to the group. Any requests, suggestions, or problems pertaining to the clan should be sent to me.

Assassination Contracts

So, you want someone dead? We’re the people for you. We don’t ask questions, and we get the job done quick but efficiently. The price for the job will vary depending on who you wish for us to terminate. Just put the information we need, and we’ll take care of it. Simple.

Rules

1.Don’t be disrespectful to your superiors. Shouldn’t be too hard.

2.Never steal, lie, or murder another Brother without permission from myself or a Council member.

3.Never reveal information about the organization. No exceptions.
