As We, Our Lord Palatine, and Marian Squire Vanhart (as well as briefly the Duke of Reinmar) made preparations to venture to the foreign city of Nilbud in the lands far off in the west, have tensions brew at home in Almaris between the Kingdom of Norland and the Duchy of Vidaus.

 

Firstly on the matter, We do clarify that the Duke of Vidaus has not committed treason against Our Realm. While it is true that the Duke did not act with Our approval, he also did not act in a manner directly against Our Crown.

 

Even after Our return has the tension spread throughout our Realm, and the recent publications of the Coalition of Venzia and the Coalition of Vidaus fills Us with great worry for the future of the Realm which We guide, and therefore we call upon the Peers of the Realm for a Herzenvrest to discuss not only the tension with Norland, but also the recent publication by the Coalition of Venzia.
