As Vyllaenen made his way out of the massacred keep, only one body caught his eye. The noble knight commander who had given his life for his country whilst his leader hid in the basement. A singular gold coin was placed over the chest of his corpse, a show of respect.

Evangeline Daphne looked at the missive, dropping to the ground as she was speaking with her husband. Her hands trembled as tears started to fall down her cheeks..

"Arthur- ARTHUR... my friend.. one of my only friends.." Eva curled into a ball, sobbing on her wooden floor as she clutched the missive tightly. Arthur... a man who was always kind to her. She kept alone mostly in the Commonwealth when it came to true friends, and she just lost one. He was a great man, a noble man. He died for a noble cause, a noble way to go with his knights there. Shall he rest in the Seven Skies

"A brave man." Quinten thought as he stepped past the one knight who seemed up to the task of defending the place, while others ran or hid, to be found by the Ferrymen anyways.

The behemoth stands within the facilities next to the many dead so called Petrans, thinking back of the Knight Paramounts fall. "Hank..." It mutters.

The de Lyons mother wandered the dark Castle Moere, the torches burnt out long after the battle's end. Dried blood caked the walls. Juliana knelt at the corner, where blood left no sight of the floor and walls behind. A trembling gloved hand reached forth, pressing the pads of her fingertips onto the crimson stains. Her head bows low, brunette locks shielding her visage like a willow's vines draped from above.

"Arthur..." she exhales, tremor on her soft words. Tears began to streak down her olive cheeks, leaving puddles of droplets to mix with her husband's blood.

Once again, Juliana was left alone, now to care for their children. The very children she had stayed home to care for instead of fulfill her duty to Petra.

If she had gone, would she have saved her husband? Or would she have left their son and daughter to be orphaned de Lyons?

The answer, of either, she could not answer.

The first person she had ever spoken a word to was gone.

And with his death, a piece of her died too.

The Silent Lamb was reduced, once more, to silence.

Elaine de Lyons heard the news of her father's passing and she sobbed in her room. All that had happened was too much for the young girl, she was inconsolable with grief.

"A man of honour, fought to his last breath..." Yvian would sign the lorraine after the man slipped from life, dying before him and the medics.

The young Robyn de Lyons would sit, watching after his younger sister after his mother departed. After some time, he would perk up at the sound of his mother's approach, springing up and looking up to her with a smile saying "Mamej!" in his usual curious, eager tone, though he'd pause a moment as he'd notice her sad demeanor, saying, more quietly, though more curious than anything "Where's papa?"

As she'd continue her mournful silence, his expression would drop, mouth twisting into a frown "Is something wrong?" At this he'd move quickly to embrace his mother and start to gather what had happened. As he'd watch her sign out her explanation of the day's events, of his father's untimely death and sacrifice, his frown would grow deeper, as bitter tears would start to flow from the young Lyon's eyes and down his cheeks as he'd tighten his embrace of his mother in their shared moment of grief. Though in the end, a bit of sad resolve would grow on the young boy's features, as his innocence was ripped away.

Father Paco Antonius Temesch had dumped the knight into the River Petra after being asked to give him last rites, for he was a petty little man angry at the misogyny against his cousin (once removed), the Archduchess.

"This brings me no pleasure," said Sir Paul Montalt upon a late walk with his cousin Ilya. "Many men died today. But only one died with honor." He lit a candle for de Lyons.

As Constanz looked around at the ashen bodies laying around the keep, his lone eye turned towards Sir Arthur. A ferocious warrior and an honorable man, the knight had been the first to try to stem the breach of Ferrymen and Azdrazi. His actions bought time for some to escape, and a tear fell from the man's eye onto the floor.

"Sir Arthur..." he says, closing his eye and dipping his head.

Spoiler

Sir 'Wings' von Draco is almost instantly surrounded by a gaggle of Ferrymen, their weapons drawn and ready to attack. He stands tall, longsword at the ready as he prepares to defend himself. But just as the brigands are about to strike, a figure appears from the shadows.. It's a Disgruntled Savoyard, sporting the Ashford Sun on his tabard, and wielding a mighty battle-axe! With a fierce battle cry, "BLOOD FOR ASHFORD!" the Savoyard charges into the fray, his battle-axe flashing in the sunlight that licked at them from between the pillars of the entryway. 'Wings' is caught off guard, but he quickly joins the Savoyard in the fight. Together, they make quick work of the two brigands before them, their sword and axe flashing in a deadly dance. But in the heat of battle, Sir 'Wings' von Draco is unceremoniously hit from behind and he falls to the ground, unconscious. When he wakes up, he finds himself on the floor of the interior of Castle Moere. His head is pounding, and his vision is blurred, but he can make out the familiar shapes of the castle's stone walls. He tries to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washes over him, and he falls back to the ground. As his vision clears, he catches a glimpse of the perished Sir Arthur de Lyons, the Knight Paramount, lying on a nearby bier. Wings is filled with a sense of loss and regret; he wishes he had the chance to serve under Sir Arthur de Lyons longer. "Blood for Arthur.." he muttered silently to himself..
