Somewhere off the east someone in the woods would happen upon the letter. "You've gotta be kidding me" he muttered with a sighed as he crouched near the base of a tree before looking into the night sky. Not wanting to put anymore energy into it he tore up the missive and set off to make a fire. He'd bury the dead in the morning.

After wandering aimlessly through the Haeseni marshes for what felt like a milennia and a half — Genzō of the Goro clan had long lost the Oyashiman ship that docked there.. when.. How long ago was it now? No matter. He felt a strange calling, like a calling bell rang through the lands, one that he recognized, the very same shouting rumble followed, and, it was at that moment that he knew there was a new home.

Somehow, still in his prime, the retainer began to wander now, this time with purpose in his step, still donned in his blood red plates and Uchigatana strapped tightly to his waist.
