Most Beloved Brethren, Health and Pontifical Benediction,

 

Our Vice-Chancellor has abruptly disappeared without a word, although it saddens us all. We pray that Father Viktor is in good health, wherever he may be. The Mother Church will conduct an investigation to his most unfortunate absence. Yet it must continue and find a replacement for this most vital of offices.

 

After careful consideration and examination, we have found an able and willing replacement. His Eminence, Father Teodosio Phokas, who we once appointed our Chamberlain was nominated and approved by the entirety of the Curia. So it is through our Apostolic Right, bestowed unto Us through the Laurel derived from the Exalted that We appoint Teodosio Phokas Our Vice-Chancellor.

 

This leaves the office of Chamberlain vacant, fear not, for We too have a replacement. His Eminence, Antonius of Saint Caius is henceforth our Chamberlain. Together with the Curia, his abilities and good record has been examined and found to be most worthy. The Pontificate wishes him the best in his newfound responsibility.
