With the roaring success of the Drunken Marian Tavern & Inn in its first year, we are glad to announce that once more competitions and other events in the tavern will be hosted due to popular demand. The first of these will both help the tavern, come with prizes and be fun for all clientele. We wish to thank all our patrons for their business and support.

INAUGURAL DRINKING COMPETITION

The Drunken Marian Tavern & Inn is proud to present its inaugural official drinking competition. Come along to the tavern and test your mettle, and liver, in this head to head contest to uncover who is the best at handling their Carrion Black in the Kingdom. Third place will receive a prize of 50 mina, second a prize of 100 mina, and first place will win 150 mina and the first minted bottle of the Prinzen’s Absinthe, an extremely rare alcohol usually reserved for members of the Royal Family. It will only be given to those who win an official drinking competition in the Drunken Marian Tavern.

NOBLE HOUSE DRINKS COMPETITION

The Drunken Marian Tavern & Inn is also proud to host a competition between the noble houses of Haense. The aim is to present to the judges the best alcohol that is a specialty of your house or estates and a winner will be selected to be crowned the best drink outside of Karosgrad. There will also be an opportunity for the top few best to be selected to be permanent additions to the drinks menu of the Drunken Marian. These drinks and their corresponding houses will be rewarded with 200 mina each.

 

Noble houses are also encouraged to bring casks of their specialties for the masses to enjoy and partake in during the competition.

Baroness Alyona of Verskaya prepped herself for the tavern's drinking contest with a few nights of heavy drinking (and awful hangovers the next day) beforehand. Ready was she going to be, wanting to take home the prize.
