☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽

A house cat or small dog sized insect with four stubby legs. Their chitin hide is weak, breaking easily with any force. These creatures are domesticated or raised from birth. Their native habitat are any general surface level caves or burrows not within extremely cold climates. Gua within cold regions rarely go outside willingly, and will stay near sources of heat.

Gua can range in hue from any standard array of color. They are able to bear small markings of chitin. For example, a purple Gua with streaks of blue upon it. Or a green Gua with jagged lines of red.

To the Mali'ker or those seeking to utilize, the Gua are invaluable. For their saliva is the vital glue that holds chitin together for extremely long times.

  • Contact with air will cause this creature’s saliva to harden slowly. This compound is harvested, and due to its nature, working with it requires speed.
  • The saliva is used as an extremely strong glue. Though typically is added by other natural resins and glues for chitin crafts
  • Which will hold the chitin plates together as the days of yore. In addition to offering everyday mundane uses.

The average lifespan of a Gua varies, lasting from thirty to forty years. They enter a period of heat ever eight years, in which a litter of six to eight eggs are laid.

Behavior
☾༻⸻☾ꈊ☽⸻༺☽

The Gua are non-aggressive, bearing two large mandibles with little strength against anything larger than themselves. These mandibles cause minor damage to bare skin. They are affectionate creatures that are fond of physicals activities once domesticated. Domestication comes easy, either by luring and training the animal with treats.

The limbs of a Gua are designed to burrow shallow holes or shift loose rocks to make a nest, added by their mandibles which act as shovels with clamped together.

When provoked, the typical Gua will attempt to trip foes or simply flee into a burrow they have created.

The main diet of a Gua is that of an Omnivore. Enjoying fruits, vegetables and the meat of creatures it can fit in its maw. Though the Gua is extremely partial to pears.

REDLINES

Gua Saliva can not be used in any form of combat situation. This is to say you can use Gua saliva to trap a persona, imprison them, or hinder them in anyway that does not have OOC consent. In the case of funny out of combat RP where a persona has their hand stick to a surface with Gua Saliva, it can be removed with force or chipped away.

When cooked, the Gua typically tastes and bears the same texture to chicken. Though may be boiled to have the meats and organs within the chitin to melt fully.

Druid Communion with a Gua finds them to be extremely bubbly creatures.

Gua can not be used in any form of Combat RP, if combat starts, they flee and are unable to interact with the CRP.

Gua Saliva merely serves as an aesthetic purpose for Crafts of Chitin in the creation of Chitin armors, weapons, chairs, book shelves and beyond.

Gua do not require an ST to be played

This just sounds like a farmable creature you can just say you have to make your metal chitin. . There is already ST chitin through different ST creatures (and funny player event creatures haha!)

Since the shelfing of the Scads Chitin Armor has not been allowed, let alone has it been made, or have LT proactively played such creatures. Chitin Armor ST signed has long been gone aside from one persona that has a full set of fancy ST chitin armor.

All and all yes this is the point of the Gua and there is no shame in it.
