Where Hides Our Enemy?

Dated 13th of Snow’s Maiden, 130 SA

TO THOSE RIGHTEOUS FOLK OF FAILOR,

Let it be known to all that, in the face of the combined forces of Minas Amath, the Norlanders, the Hobbit-Lord’s host, and our blessed coalition’s auxiliaries, the Men of Darkness who dwell in Redclyf have been driven to such fear that they do not even muster to defend their holding. By heroic and valiant effort did a band of warriors make entry into their fortress, armed and ready to take the heads of the baby-eaters, yet even as we checked under the beds and in the closets, there was not even a pair of boots for the would-be defenders to quiver in! Thus, with their holding abandoned, and by the assent of the Thain Cyris, we do declare that the fort of the Redclyf folk is now under the dominion of Minas Amath. Henceforth, Ser Adrielle of Barrowton shall be appointed as the Military Governor of the Eastern Marches. To you Men of Darkness that yet hide from justice, submit yourselves before our authority, and face your impending crucifixions like men.

AURË ENTULUVA!

Signed,

Her Royal Highness, Caraneth Aryantë Arthalion, Princess of Minas Amath, Conqueror of the Failorian North, Harrenite Warlord

"I don't like Redclyff, I don't like Redcylff, I don't like Redclyff." Metta Tennallar of Talar'nor grumbles as he stares over the bridge to the nearby Redclyff camp, before letting the crusaders inside "But I do like those people!"

"I've lived near three centuries, an' I've never seen so a force so bold, so righteous, so just as the one which was assembled by both Canonist, and Fatherist. Those of Norland, Minas Amath, the Wee Folk, and many others of whom hailed from various other city-states and realms." High Keeper Ellenore gazed upon the horizon, as many races had gathered to combat a foe so impure and vile, truly a sight to behold. "Let not our differences keep us from delivering justice upon these defilers of righteousness."

Adrielle puffed on her pipe as she received the news, satisfied of her new position.

As he smoked a pipe next to the halfling village and observed the coalition members who were preparing to ambush him and his envoys, Adaranth would glance at the missive with a smile. He would then turn to Friedrich and say, "These Norlanders, and Halflings, they definitely love punching air, they have been doing it a lot for the past two saints days," he'd laugh for a second before asking, "So.. Where to next?"

Princess Caraneth quietly looked over a report she had received from a loyal, handsome and brave coalition scout. "They went back down to the Underdark to hide from us? Quite the run, that."

The wall child continues crawling around inside the Redclyf walls, hoping to have a chance to say 'Hello!' if they would ever come back to their camp. The wall child begins to lose hope as they watch the bandits run back into the cave for the third... fourth time? It is hard to keep track.

"Cabals of evil shall never succeed!" Vykk slams his fist on the table before him.

"Only the Father's justice will be delivered!" he continues, addressing any nearby.

"Plead for your lives vile worms and Agents of Ruin!" he spits his venom, directed at the baby eaters of Redclyff.

"Every descendant has chosen the path of righteousness, you shall be smote from this world" he finishes his message.

Surveying the halfling village, Friedrich would take a hit of Ad'ah's pipe, "After the baby-eater, women killer lies I really shouldn't be surprised. These good-for-naught halflings really can't stoop any lower." He'd shake his head as he responded to his friend, "At least they can't even plan an ambush correctly..."

Marol watched in horror as the home she had only just begun to get used to was lost. She clutched her med kit to her chest with one hand and wiped her eyes of the small tears that had begun to form with the other. Her face then grew serious. She gave one last nod to the camp before following after the rest of Redclyf.

Returning to the settlement with a small bundle of fish in tow, Rhosyn looked confused & more-so worried as she'd noticed the MANY bootprints upon the paths. Not a single soul in sight with answers, but a gut-wrenching sense of dread befell her thoughts as she dropped the semi-alive fish upon the ground in search of anyone; her cousin, her siblings.... Even the Chancellor himself. As much as she feared his might & even grew cocky in the past with the way she'd spoken to him, she worried for his safety as the man was much stronger than herself.

Checking through each building, under every rock, within every irrigation unit in the farm fields, Rhosyn could not find anyone. "...What.. have ya d-done...." The teen would mumble to herself as she kept her shepherd's crook of a walking stick close, the only comfort she would find this day being the light upon her stick to enlighten the emptiness that would surround her.
