After the latest hunt along the plains, scouting for the next encampment for the Subudai, Sertorius receives word of the Kirvel, the Jahvid, and the wandering woman along the steppes; Sertorius sends for the three to his camp just off the trail from the Nation Crossroad.

Cole looks upon the men galloping by him as he walks down the paths of Anthos. His hair laying down to the side of his head as the blow past, making him swiftly turn his hair with the wind as he looks upon the mounted men. He stares upon them carefully as they keep moving. Cole whistles and yells for them to stop in an attempt to get their attention. Their robes and their traditional Subudai look showing very bright and vibrant as they moved along.

Word reaches Nux of men of horse back growing in numbers. He is told that they don't look normal, a newness is in their presence. Nux is shown a sketch from one of his goblin scouts. He sees the man is a strange looking human, not an Oren residence. He tell the scouts to stop one of the men and question them. He says to the scout to then tell him what he finds out. He orders another goblin to stand a ways away, hidden, when the first goblin talks to the man. If the first goblin is struck down, the second is ordered to run away and tell Nux that the men are hostile.

Gaspar al'Nahim thunders across the Anthosian steppes, the hot wind like a welcome embrace to his old, weather beaten face. He had been informed by Sertorius that there have been new relatives of his, members of the mighty Al'Zahir, who have entered the confederacy. His time had come to once more lead his people into a new and glorious age, where the pounding of hooves drowned out the cries of fear and weakness. An age where the Subudai prevailed.
