The Creator was the one who made what was right and showed what was wrong.
Now, the abominations from the north have blurred the line, taking what we have worked so hard to make and twist it, mutated it, into a force of destruction beyond what conventional weaponry can handle.
The Only way to defend ourselves from these monsters is to fight fire with fire. We are Defenders of the Forest Cross.

This guild is not a guard force. No, this guild is far more. We do not use conventional swords. we do not use conventional armor. We mutate what we have into something that can fight the enemy. We reinvent strategy to fight these monsters. Through weapons considered barbaric we fight. We are efficient. We are Unethical. Our only concerns are to protect the peoples of Elf, human and halfling from these monsters.
We Are An outpost of the Arcane Delvers and are directly next to Lenfarthing.

If you are of the Delvers and would wish to transfer, I'd advise asking your commander for permission.
 

Rules and Regulations

  • Rule 1: No Armor except in major battles (PVP). Armor will have no advantage if one of the corrupted has the better of you. It is better to remain quick and deal as much damage as possible.
  • Rule 2: Do not do anything to harass, harm, or hinder the people we protect.
  • Rule 3: Swords are illegal. Only generalized weaponry is acceptable.
  • Rule 4:You are men of the Arcane Delvers, Do not forget that Treat those as you are your own brethren and their commanders with respect.
  • Rule 5: You will spend the majority of your time training with generalized weaponry and will spend other times inventing new weapons to combat the enemy.
  • Rule 6: Stay North. Any spotting of anyone going farther south than Salvus unless ordered to will be punished, unless you are a dwarf or orc and have relations with your people.

Ranks:

Grand Hunter:

Commands all other ranks,is head of research and advancement of weaponry.

 

 Grand Trainer:

Controls all training session times and controls Trainers.

 

Hunter:

The Footman of the Order, only takes commands form the Grand trainer and the Grand hunter.No hunter is allowed to command another. Hunters spend their time going on offensive strikes against the North, recruiting mages, and train with the generalized weaponry, along with participating in battles.

 

 

Trainer:

Trainers spend the majority of their time training Hunters, and being taught by alchemists. The trainer carries generalized weaponry and participates in battles.
 

Grand Mage:

The most esteemed mage in the order, in charge of searching for magical weakenesses in the North's force.

 

Teacher Mage:

In charge of teaching apprentices to a point of becoming a teacher. Is in charge of enchanting, and perfecting evocation.

 

Apprentice:
Mage in teaching. Is trained by teachers. Apprentices also assist  engineers.
 

Alchemist:

An Alchemist creates and experiments with potions to aid the hunters in combat.

 

Builder:

The builders are the plebeians of the Guild, helping the architect and such.

 

Architect:

In charge of designing and building, commander of builders.

 

Artisan:

The Artisans are blacksmith, merchants and shopkeepers. they give 30 % of their profits to the guild.

Currently we have only the Grand Hunter and the Grand Trainer; All other jobs are for the taking!
 

Generalized Weaponry:

The three generalized weapons are efficient, used for multiple purposes, and can save your life. all of the weapons shown are to be made golden so that they are actually able to be used on the North.

MELEE: THE CHAIN WHIP:

This brutal weapon serves as your sword. Not only is it able to cut and disarm, but its barbed chain is useful for maiming, along with its upper coil useful for latching on to a North monster's Tendril.  This weapon is purely offensive, and can cut through almost anything like butter.

DEFENSE: THE SPIKED SHIELD

This shield not only serves as a blocking mechanism, but as a secondary weapon if needed. The spiked shield is able to be used with thrusts or bashes, and is able to deliver crippling blows.

 

RANGED: SHORTBOW

This bow is able to be fired quickly and efficiently, only 2 feet long and is able to be used as a melee weapon if all else fails, by bashing you opponents face with it.

Rule 4: Only golden weaponry and golden spiked shields are usable against the enemy, so iron weapons are of no use.

((I don't believe golden weaponry does any more damage to the Antagonists than normal weaponry does. That being said, normal weaponry can still do a great amount of damage to an Antagonist, and they are usually not much stronger than normal warriors, and most of the time, quite the opposite. Though I do enjoy seeing rumors spread about the Antagonists, ic and ooc, it is important for people to know this one is not true, to prevent powergaming against the Antagonist forces. Again, golden weaponry makes no difference in a fight against the Antagonists.))
