The Rising Smoke in Hyspia As the sun began to set over the vibrant city of Hyspia, the air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of fruity tobacco and the gentle haze of smoke. The source of this delightful scent was a new stall that had sprung up in the bustling market square, adorned with colorful fabrics and shimmering lights. The stall boasted an impressive array of substances, each carefully labeled with its name and properties. There were Pure Quarts and Cactus Green for relaxation, Eternal leaf for pain relief, and a variety of other herbs and concoctions for a myriad of ailments. The air was thick with the sweet scent of tobacco and the sound of bubbling hookahs, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and intrigue. Despite the exotic nature of the goods on offer, there was an air of legitimacy about the stall. It seems that each herb and product had been carefully selected and prepared and according to passers-by, seemed to be of the highest quality. There it seem to be a same message you hear all around!: “If one wishes to buy in large bulk, be it for one's own use, a party, or ball, be they a peasant from the slums or a king in a high palace, contact us to place an order, we sell, cheaper then cloud temple! True, I updated my wording from access to learn since 1-slotted blood mages can still learn the 2-slot rituals for teaching. As for the first part second part I've had students and seen other blood mage players ask what spells can be learned at each tier. While someone could go through each spell and see what tier they can learn it at that is both inefficient and pointless. Most magic pages include what spells can be learned at each tier for convenience already. I don't see why blood magic should lack that when most magics have it. It is a small amendment but one for convenience. You need to wait three months anyways before applying for a TA and by then the mage should be T5. Also as per the rules you need to be T5 in order to apply for a TA. I don't see where blood magic says you can apply for a TA at T4. While the rune of insight can be self-taught at T4 it says you still need to acquire a TA and does not say a TA can be acquired at T4. And as for the mage being able to learn any ritual at any tier, most teachers already follow this tier progression. Sure a T2 blood mage could be taught every spell and ritual and then left on their own until they reach T5 but most teachers aren't doing that.

Personally, I think that Augmentation should be listed under T1 considering there is a T1 version of the spell. For the rituals, they shouldn't really need to be listed because you can LEARN the rituals at any tier, but you can't LEAD them until specific tiers. This amendment would make it look like they can't learn it until later on. Also, it would ruin the whole TA at T4 thing if you have to wait until T5 to learn some of the rituals

Tier Progression Old Lore New Lore Purpose Pretty straight forward, only tier one listed the spells accessible for that tier. For the spells each tier can learn I went with the tier the mage would have to be to lead the ritual. This would make it easier for teachers and students alike to keep track of the spells they can learn for each tier.

Cautiously I peered into the darkness to see the approaching threat, a metallic scraping echoing down the cobbled road. I could see the glinting of the moon against the silvery metal of a hand-pushed cart full of mysterious tools and objects fast approaching me. The man behind the cart looked friendly enough claiming to be selling burgers of the highest quality, food that will last a lifetime and never go bad. At first I was skeptical, but I didn’t have time to question it when hunger began overtaking my body. He offered me two burgers for a single coin, a strange deal, but it was what I needed at the time. Taking the coin, the man grabbed burgers from his cart. They were warm, but they were the saddest burgers I have ever seen in my entire life. They were flat and of dull colors, a fist imprint pressed into the top bun as though the entire thing had been gripped and made with great force. Unable to control my hunger I shoveled the demon burgers into my mouth and thought nothing of it. I could have sworn the man moaned as I did so, although I couldn’t fathom this being the case. Overall, the burgers weren’t terrible, although they were nothing exceptional in a way I would recommend. Biggest mistake of my entire life. Later that evening those infernal sandwiches began a crusade in my stomach that my anus never stood a chance at surviving. Lying in bed my stomach began blaring like the sounds of a million evil trumpets screaming in unison. The smells I produced were akin to being trapped in an outhouse built atop a thousand rotting corpses that have been baking in the heat for three weeks with all the smells being trapped inside the toilet. Jumping out the bed I ran in search of the nearest toilet, river, or hole in which to relieve myself, not to mention the brief fit of vomitting.. To cut it short, the experince was panicked, awful, and thankfully shrouded in the cloak of night. By the time the horrors had passed I began searching for a hole to throw myself into so that I could keel over and die peacefully. I felt violated hoping that this wouldn’t be my end, the fear of my legacy being me found slouched over dead before the most unholy hole of excrement ever seen overwhelming.
