Godfrey, a Human/Elvish half blood was born in the poor side of Sutica. He was very much poor, his family dying out just after he learned to walk and leaving him orphaned. He was a rather reserved yet capable character, and left the city to fend for himself. He was eventually stopped by Caroline, a girl whom was also from Sutica, and a hedge knight of sorts named Bersmont. Bersmont offered to help Godfrey get on his feet, whom Godfrey gladly accepted. Godfrey became best friends with Caroline and was a rather skilled squire for Bersmont. Bersmont taught him all he knew to be a skilled, chivalrous Knight until Godfrey was 19, when Bersmont grew ill and passed away. With the sudden death of his Knight and the responsibility of protecting his friend, Godfrey became a fairly level headed individual, helping end disputes amongst angsty people whether by the poorest of peasants or the most snobbish of nobles either through his words, or the sword, taking the title 'Le Médiateur’, or ‘The Mediator’.
