Lindel Bruschtik was born in the city of Reza, he lived with his parents until he was 22, he then moved to Skjoldier with his newly pregnant wife. 10 years ago Lindel Bruschtik lived with his only daughter, Mel in The Citadel in Skjoldier. Lindel worked as a stonecutter within the city and would leave his daughter alone in their home for long periods of time. One day when Lindel came home late at night he found that Mel was gone. At first, he thought she had just gone out with some of her friends, but after Lindel waited for six hours and Mel never showed up he started to panic. He began asking his neighbours if they had seen her and after two whole days of searching the city for her, Lindel left the city to look elsewhere. Lindel travelled throughout the entire northwestern section of Skjoldier going from city to city. Throughout his travels, Lindel became increasingly depressed and became an alcoholic. After eight years of searching for Mel in Skjoldier, Lindel meets a Snow Elf merchant from the city of Fenn. The merchant tells Lindel that he’s heading back to Fenn and asks if Lindel he needs a way to get to Arcas, Lindel figures that Mel might be in Arcas so he decides to head to Fenn with the merchant.
