Adam Mossbrow grew up with his family in a small shack in Adria living somewhat of a normal life. His parents loved him, they loved him so much that they didn’t want any harm to come to him. They feared that the outside world was too dangerous for him and feared that he would die. This fear caused Adam to live his life in that shack and was taught to never leave. His parents were the only ones to leave to get food and work as farmers. They never told him much about the world and only taught him what they “thought” he would need to live. This sheltering from his parents caused him to grow curious about the world outside and his dream of leaving the shack to learn more about it. One day, days before he would become the age of eighteen his parents had to leave to tend to their farm. However, that was the same day thieves targeted their shack and began to rob it. They found Adam inside but instead of killing him, they decided to knock him out and kidnap him instead. His parents came in during this and managed to scare off the thieves. They managed to escape with what they could and with Adam. When they got far enough, they knew Adam would get them caught so they decided to dump him in a nearby ditch. When Adam awoke, he found himself in a tent but it was only him. The only thing that was there were clothes, some food, and a map of Arcas with the Kingdom of Curonia circled indicating to go there. He knew that he was now alone and wouldn’t have anyone to help him anymore. He is now eighteen and begins his journey to start a new life outside of the sheltering of his parents. He hopes that he will figure out what happened to those thieves, his parents, and who brought him to that tent while he was still passed out.
