Born in Dunharrow, his family are a long line of farmers. After working on his father’s farm for many years, at the age of 23 he set out for adventure across the lands; he continues to pursue this endeavour today, hopping between cities and villages and encountering the beauty (as well as the dread) of the realms.
Though it was uncommon in his family, his mother was a tanner. She, as well as Oskar’s father, both died in an attack by bandits whilst out in the wilderness, as they were travelling to trading post. He did not, and has not, heard of his parent’s death to this day, as he has not returned to Dunharrow in many years.
